Weed and cannabis delivery dispensary
After months of research, we’ve uncovered a large network of fraudulent delivery listings on Google Maps using names such as “Weed and Cannabis Delivery Dispensary,” “Delivery Dispensary Weed,” and similar variations. These listings appear across multiple U.S. cities and share the same phone numbers, scripts, and payment methods (Cash App, Zelle, Chime, and crypto). Our investigation traced many of these operations back to a group operating out of Nigeria, using fake U.S. addresses — including residential homes, empty lots, and condos — to appear legitimate. They tell customers that the store is “under maintenance” or “delivery-only,” then ask for $100–$350 upfront for fake “medical card” or “delivery fees.” Once paid, they vanish or ask for more money under new names. This coordinated scam network has caused thousands in losses per month, misusing Google’s platform and harming real local businesses. If you see listings with generic names like “Cannabis and Weed Delivery,” “Greenwoods,” or “Fast Weed Delivery,” avoid sending any payment before pickup and report them to Google Business Profile or the FTC.
