Was told several times that the doctor had called me and I didn't answer. I had no incoming phone calls on my phone at all during that time period. I found MDProactive on facebook and sent a message. I was contacted shortly there after.
In my opinion, the doctor was short with me. Asked two questions and said OK, good-bye. I was left hanging as to what he thought and whether or not he was going to send in prescriptions. It wasn't until my pharmacy called that I had prescriptions ready that I knew it.

The response time was decent when I signed up, and the Dr was polite and helpful on the phone; however, the rx never arrived at the pharmacy. Thankfully my sickness started to clear up on its own, but that was a wasted $30

This could be a really good service
This could be a really good service, but the doctor goes out of his way to make you uncomfortable for using the service in the only ways it can be used. You might use it because you need something urgently - ah, but for liability reasons, they won't treat an urgent situation over the phone. You might need it because you don't have a primary care provider - ah, but you will be nagged about getting one. You might not be able to afford a regular doctor - they will nag you about getting one. You might just need a prescription refill - they will tell you to get a primary care provider instead because "they can keep refilling this for you" - then drill you on things like your blood pressure and why you're not keeping a BP diary to accompany your blood pressure prescription. They can't refill controlled substances. So the only thing I have found it good for is to get medicine fast for infections such as a UTI, but then the doctor will ask me questions about the infection as if he doesn't believe me that I get these 4 x a year, and will say things to me like "you need to be washing and practicing good hygiene, are you practicing good hygiene?" And now the website tries to charge you separately for prescription refills and discourages you from getting them, so exactly what can this service be used for? It seems reasonable to ask for prescription refills and antibiotics for recurring infections when you don't have insurance or can't see a doctor, but I've been directly discouraged by the doctor from using the service for this. But I can't think of any other reasons to use it. So I am going from someone who used it several times a year and then bought a yearly subscription when those became available...to someone who hopes to never have to use it again. On top of this, the doctor is rather unpleasant. He isn't polite, he tends to speak in negatives or in a way that sounds suspicious of you, and makes excuses if he can't reach you by phone or did not call in the prescription as expected. There is no number for you to call him back, so you have to enter a second appointment if he fails to call or fails to send the prescription to the pharmacy, as he is behind a security wall that keeps you from ever calling him for free. The whole system breaks the bond of trust, when so little is required when dealing with a Tel-a-Doc anyway

The phone number is not for online people
The site suggested I use a pharmacy that was no longer in business. I found the number on the website only to be told that I could not be put in contact with the doctor on that number and only via email. Given it was an urgent matter, I asked if they could just let him know that the pharmacy needed to be changed. I was told no. I phoned back later claiming to be a regular Clinic patient of the doctor and was told I could leave a message. It's a shame you treat new clients as if they do not matter.

My prescription was never called in
My call with the doctor went well but the prescriptions that were supposed to be called in for me never were called in. I use the service hoping to resolve my issue while being out of town but instead had to wait until I was home anyway and then still had to go to my regular doctor and pay a co-pay. It was a waste of $40.

Uncaring Doctor
Physician didn’t even bother to hear out my symptoms, he just wrote me a prescription. The call was less than 45 seconds.

DISAPPOINTED
NEVER GOT RX
I was contacted pretty quickly by the doctor, and he said he sent my prescription to my pharmacy, but it was never received. When I called for a refund, I got it, but there was no apology or anything.
