Voyage MediaReviews of voyagemedia.com

I came across Voyage Media on Facebook and from my very first contact with them the experience has been extremely professional. They have provided me with an unparalleled opportunity to engage with serious professionals in the film and TV industry that I would not have been able to access without them. Of course, you have to pay but given the very real and almost insurmountable barriers that exist to attract the attention of the movers and shakers in the industry I can honestly say that it is truly worthwhile. The whole process with Voyage is slick, efficient and productive. I am now at the stage of having a screenplay, based on my first novel, being marketed to film companies. This is a once in a lifetime chance and I am deeply grateful to Voyage and could not recommend them more highly.

Voyage Media has been fantastic in assisting me with creating a great script and a winning Lookbook for my passion project. Working with my producer/coach, Adam Prince to rewrite my own script was a dream. He was supportive, clear, efficient and understood the feelings I wanted to convey. Jacob was incredible creating the Lookbook. Though I wanted to do it myself I realize now that with real pro talent layers of meaning, history and concept can be added to enrich the message of that efficient storytelling, selling device. I am thrilled with the result. As a professional in entertainment for many years I am so pleased to find Voyage Media with its new open gate to the industry if you have a great story take the leap. I look forward to continuing my adventure on this project with Voyage Media and probably other projects as well.

Great journey, great experience. Hollywood scripts are very particular and if you don't meet their criteria you won't get far. These people helped me turn my novel into a sellable movie script and I'm very excited to see if we can sell it. Before you start you need to understand that it's really all on you in the end, you are gambling on yourself. You need to make sure you know the story, inside and out. Get a jump on movie script structure, read "Saves the Cat" or another book on the subject. Most of all make sure you have a great story, get opinions of people who will be honest, like strangers. After all that, if you truly believe in your story, go for it. But you need to realize it's up to you and what you put into it, just handing them your money is no guarantee you'll write something they can sell.

Time after time, readers of my novel remarked that it should be made into a movie. But as a novelist with no connection to, or knowledge about Hollywood, how does one go about that? Hope that someone in Hollywood encounters my book and options it? Send unsolicited queries and pray that one somehow doesn't get buried at the bottom of a dusty stack? That's where Voyage comes in. Voyage offered me an avenue to develop a screenplay and package it for possible development, leveraging Voyage's connections. Voyage was upfront about what was expected of me, including the financial commitment and time required to develop a treatment and screenplay, while promising nothing more than a detailed, programmatic approach to the process, which they have followed to a "T." Paired with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable producer and a talented screenwriter, I now have a screenplay Voyage is packaging for possible development. While Voyage doesn't guarantee success, they have delivered on their promise of a disciplined, collaborative process that I have thoroughly enjoyed.

I've pursued my dream of having my book series on tv for ten years and Voyage has gotten me 90% there. I couldn't be happier with my book adaptation script out there being shopped. I found all the people; the Producer, the script writers, the coordinators and Nat himself to be honorable and deliver what is possible. Does anyone promise a miracle, of course not. Is this industry subjective, yes. Do naysayers think you get something for nothing, of course they do. If you believe in your project, give Voyage a try, but be honest with yourself as I try to be; not everyone will want to publish you or make a movie out of your work, but you do need a great team on your side to try and make it happen and that is Voyage.

My experience is that Voyage Media under promises and if you work the program it will deliver. A small investment for such a possibly huge return is MY reality. Every step of the process is transparent and you are continually reminded that as the Creator you own the rights. My first step into the Hollywood market is a professional one page, treatment and thoroughly entertaining screenplay that is ready! The Producer was knowledgeable and encouraging. The round table of Writers and ultimately the rewrites have positioned my Screenplay for success. This is the "One stop shop" to have a book made into a screenplay as they did for my friend who is thoroughly satisfied! Or turning a confusing script with a good story into a project ready for the major studios which is what is happening with my Voyage Media Original!

I am a novelist and children's book writer, and found Voyage Media through a recommendation from a producer acquaintance. I had a terrific experience with Voyage. I submitted my draft screenplay of one of my novels--a book I thought would make a good adaptation to film. Voyage shepherded me through the process, and helped me pick a producer who had an affinity for the somewhat off-beat nature of my project. Working with the producer was a terrific experience. He not only read my screenplay, but also my original novel, and worked with me through numerous drafts to hone my script into something viable with the current marketplace. Voyage costs some money, and demands a certain amount of humbleness and hard work on the part of the writer, but in my experience it has paid off in spades. Highly recommended!

I gained the ability to look at my screenplay from a stronger marketing standpoint. By taking a step back and listening to those who only had my success in mind, I saw that I had written a script with a dual narrative. Since I actually had two stories Voyage focused on one, which is now being submitted to studios, and I continued to develop the second screenplay on my own, which I'll produce early 2025. So this experience helped me improve overall. A great team of professionals at Voyage. Well worth the investment for anyone with long term production goals. I highly recommend.
