Just to clarify, the service you purchased is mainly designed for receiving incoming calls and SMS, which is exactly what is shown on the plan details. Outgoing calls are only possible when we have a local access number available in the customer’s country. At this time, we do not have an access number available for Paraguay, therefore outgoing calls from Paraguay are not supported. This is the page where the Paraguay option is shown: https://www.vnumber.com/choose-your-number/united-states/paraguay As you can see, this page does not mention anywhere that outgoing calls from Paraguay are included. If you believe the website states otherwise, please point us to the exact location where outgoing calls are mentioned, and we will review it immediately. Just to clarify — VNumber requires an active plan and/or available balance in order to place outgoing calls (depending on the package you selected). Outgoing calls are not offered for free without credit. For this reason, leaving a 1-star review may be based on a misunderstanding of how the service works, rather than an actual technical issue. We’d like to clarify an important point: receiving SMS messages from Meta (WhatsApp / Facebook) does not depend only on the phone number provider, but also on Meta’s internal verification systems, which can accept or block numbers automatically and without notice. Many customers successfully use VNumber to receive SMS and verification codes, however no provider can guarantee 100% delivery of Meta messages, as this decision is fully controlled by Meta and is outside of our system. Hi Juan, We’re sorry to hear about your frustration. However, we’d like to clarify a few important points for transparency. Over the course of this case, multiple phone number changes were requested and completed (three in total), including one that was processed with an accepted $5 fee. Each time, the number itself was active and working correctly. The issue reported — incoming calls being routed directly to voicemail — was traced to routing behavior on the receiving carrier’s side, which is unfortunately outside of our platform’s control. To further assist, we also performed a provider change and escalated the case to our technical team. Our number change guarantee applies when an issue is caused by our system, which was clearly explained during the conversation. Despite this, we still offered to refund the last number change fee as a gesture of goodwill. We always aim to help our customers and provided support, explanations, and escalation throughout the process.
