Never buying in Vitalsource again in my life. Cannot access the book the way I want, and even if I "Download" it, it has to load every time. Just horrible experience. Not recommended. I just feel I "bought" something, but i'm not free to read it the way I want, just can read it through the problematic and poorly designated app that they provide. Please don't buy anything, get the book on physical, it will be far better than this crappy version of a digital book, which is slow, frustrating, and take off all of the benefits of a digital version. They try to prevent piracy, but they just indirectly promove it, by offering a paid far worse experience.

I bought an eBook from them almost 10 days ago and it was not there till today, I have been telling them the issue but there was no response, today I called them again and they were refunding my money. I should have bought from amazon who told me today that after buying book will be immediately available to me. I wasted my time sending emails with no result.

I am a philosophy professor. I highly recommend telling students to not use VitalSource versions of books and to instead purchase hard copies (used or new), or to have them find full PDF's of the published versions of books. Books from VitalSource typically are not formatted in the same way the original published versions, which makes them basically useless for citations. Moreover, some schools have attempted to move to VitalSource (although professors haven't been) because they get kickbacks for using VitalSource.

To spend approx £400 on e books only to expire after 12 months, buy your books don't deal with this company, utterly useless and a bit of a rip off.

Genuinely terrible software. Logs out very often, does not work with Apple sign-in, randomly deletes highlighted text, does not show math formulas on the app... I hope institutions can stop using this platform until it addresses such issues which make studying a pain.

I'm a Regent Student and I accessed my eBook one time with so much trouble. And now, I cannot access it at all. Even after communicating with a chat technician, go figure. And nothing. Please do not use VitalSource. It's a scam.

Doesn't tell you how long you have the book for after purchase. Has a 1.7 star review score, not surprised

Ad un certo punto, durante una normale lettura+sottolineatura, ha deciso di togliere l'opzione "sottolineare", eliminando tutte le sottolineature delle 30 pagine precedenti, perdendo così un'ora e mezza di lavoro. Top. Ho provato a ricaricare la pagina, riavviare il pc, aggiornarlo. Tutto. Continua a non farmi sottolineare nulla. Ho pagato 24, 99 euro di ebook. Top
