Understanding for Loyal Customers
I purchased a 1 year membership in order to write the majority of my coursework for an 18 month apprenticeship I was doing. Unfortunately my membership ran out 1 month before I finished so I purchased 1 more month just to see me through. I thought the year and the month purchases were just one off payments, but then I check my credit card and they are taking payments every month! After a lot of looking I find the "subscription" page on the website and a web chat with "Josh". I politely asked for the 2 payments back as they could see I had not used it, and got fobbed off with "We regret to inform you that as per our Terms we dont offer refunds, you can cancel and stop the subscription" from Josh. I have asked it to be referred to the account management team (as it's not like they haven't already had over £200 out of me), I asked for a reference number but "Josh" went silent so I won't hold my breath in getting my £96 back (let's hope they prove me wrong) Bearing in mind the amount of marketing emails they send maybe they should send a reminder that your "monthly subscription" is due instead, maybe then not so many people would be writing these bad reviews! ****Updated I received several emails from the support team following my initial review and they refunded me the 2 months payments. I'm very happy they did, as Visme is a really good platform and it made writing up my apprenticeship projects a lot more fun and visually interesting (I received a merit), I look forward to using then again in the future.
