Rear camera failed. Contacted customer service and was asked to do some troubleshooting starting with the most basic ones. I took the initiative to just do more from the get go and send them a video. They then processed the warranty with no hassle. Replacement parts came sometime later. Installed it and everything works. Customer service very friendly, professional, and reasonable.

Meine Viofo A119 Mini 2 hatte vor ca. einem Monat das Problem, dass von heute auf morgen das Display extrem dunkel war. Die aufgezeichneten Videos waren aber korrekt ausgeleuchtet. Trotzdem extrem nervig, da es so kaum möglich war die Kamera auszurichten. Kamera in zweites Auto eingebaut, Kabel gewechselt, an PC angeschlossen etc. – nichts half. Nachdem ich ca. eine Woche mit dem Support schrieb, bot man mir einen Austausch an, welcher mittlerweile vollzogen ist. Die neue Kamera funktioniert wie erwartet. Viofo products are second to none, I have been using them for many years. They are extensive with their knowledge of their products, so if you ever need help they will bend over backwards to get you sorted and back on the happy trail. I have a number of their products and once the Starvis sensors came out, I had to buy them cams with it. One very happy loyal customer right here!

I'm writing this review for others to understand that this company is an absolute gem. I did a complete research regarding the best dash camera available. The more research I did the more led me to conclude that this company produced the highest quality dash camera cameras with the best technology and the greatest Customer Support. However, since I'm not able to install this equipment, I needed to have it professionally done, and I reached out to a few installers in the area. Most if not all of them tried to talk me out of VIOFO by saying that it's a cheap Chinese company and that they don't stand behind their product. They they don't have any offices in the US and once you buy it, the customer service will not be there that essentially it's going to be a nightmare situation once you purchase it without any real support. I didn't believe that because I've already seen a lot of reviews by a lot of customers praising the companies products as well as customer service. In any case, I ended up purchasing four cameras from them for my four different cars and bunch of accessories. I found them to be extremely customer oriented. I found them to be responsible, responsive, and truly care about their companies image. Frankly, I am shocked myself because I've never dealt with a Chinese based company directly and had a stereotypical belief that basically once I buy it, I'm on my own. This is not been the case whatsoever. These guys are fantastic and this is a real review coming from a real customer who had to go against the grain of recommendations of the installers in the area to purchase a product, the installers in the area all want to push Korean companies that have incentives and relationships with the dealers in the area. However, VIOFO cameras are far better than they are technology wise and also I would say Customer wise as well don't hesitate to purchase from them as they will stand behind their product and they're constantly pushing to get better products into the streamline. When they tell you, they're gonna do something and they have for me a number of times they've always come through. I was worried about timing of shipping items from China to United States and frankly it was not bad at all. I would say it would be a few days longer than getting it from a US based company. The delivery has been flawless. The packaging has been excellent. The customer service has been good and the prices have been very reasonable. It's not a cheap brand. It's not a cheap product, but it is the best product you could get at a very reasonable price. Oh yes by the way, I have not been paid to write this review. This is my honest, genuine experience. The only reason I'm doing it is because I want people to have confidence to order from this company and not to be worried.

On Dec 1, 2024, I purchased a VIOFO A229 Plus Dash Cam Front and Rear, because I was planning on driving to Florida (from CT) after Christmas... I installed the camera in my vehicle on Sunday Dec 8 2024, and it didn't take long for my investment to pay dividends... My wife was driving the car 2 days after I installed it and was T-Boned at an intersection with a stop light... completely totaling the vehicle! My wife, obviously shaken by the impact, couldn't tell the police what happened... the driver of the vehicle told the police she ran the light causing him to hit her on the passenger side door. He was adamant she was at fault! When I arrived on the scene of the accident, I remembered I had installed the cameras, so I removed the camera and SD card and was able to clearly show that my wife did not run a Red light... she proceeded through the intersecting a full 2 seconds after it turned green, and was impacted a second and half after that. The video clearly vindicate my wife from any wrong doing, and implicated the other driver of running the Red light. Note: you could also see on the video that his light was indeed Red! The evidence of the dashcam saved us! My wife posted the incident on Facebook, and it resulted in over 100 comments, including many of which asked me what camera did I buy and where did I get it... the only downside of the incident was that I ended up installing 10 units in the cars of friends and relatives... thankfully I am retired... :) VIOFO is easy to use and has been absolutely reliable! Thank you VIOFO!
