Pleasant, user-friendly experience from start to finish!
I am in the process of moving to Philadelphia. In looking for apartments, I quickly found a number of websites to begin my search. VeryApt stood out from the get-go because of four main things: 1) Aesthetically pleasing, user-friendly interface: very slick and easy to use. It was a pleasure to navigate through the website and easy to save apartments that I liked. 2) Easily accessible information about apartments: on each apartment page, important features were highlighted, including an amenities checklist, ballpark rent figures, floor plans, photos, location on a map with pinned nearby points of interest (restaurants, bars, pharmacies, grocery stores), and contact information for the building. Sending apartment inquiries was as easy as a click of the mouse. This set-up streamlined the search by providing all the essential information in one place. Other websites attempted to do this, but none was as comprehensive and concise as VeryApt. 3) User reviews: VeryApt contains a database of reviews that discuss pros and cons of each apartment building. Having feedback from actual tenants takes the apartment search to a new level - it allowed me to rule out anything egregious, while pursuing apartments that meshed with what I was looking for. 4) Accessible, friendly staff: Probably the best part of the experience. I was lucky enough to work with Ashrit and Scott, co-founders of VeryApt. Both were extremely cordial and accommodating. They responded to my inquiries in under 24 hours in a friendly manner, and were very much looking to help find me an apartment consistent with my interests. I met up with Scott during my trip to the city and he took the time to bring me to scheduled showings, while also making additional phone calls when I wanted to see more apartments outside of what we had planned on initially. It couldn't have been more of a pleasure to work with them. In sum, VeryApt is a comprehensive apartment search site. It rides on the shoulders of people who know the options well and are dedicated to creating a user-friendly experience. I recommend it with no reservations, and hope they are able to expand to more cities soon. Everyone deserves an experience like I had when apartment searching!
