Absolutely incredible service - we owe the VeryApt team not just time and money (free first month's rent) but also our sanity! Their website is very helpful to begin with, but Scott's very personal touch and awesome responsiveness to all of our requests for help or advice (both in-person on several occasions and via email on many more occasions) were really what makes VeryApt stand out. He was able to gauge our preferences from the very beginning and was our advocate during every apartment showing we saw together, helping my fiancée flesh out what we wanted as we moved in together and then helping us to negotiate out the details. Scott ended up linking us with a fantastic building and great landlord in University City and gave us specific apartment-negotiation tips that absolutely and literally paid off. His knowledge of the apartment scene in Philadelphia is surpassed only by his patience for his customers, and my fiancée and I would absolutely pay for this service if needed!

My experience with VeryApt was the best. I had not been apartment hunting for over 40 years and found very different practices in place, I needed an apartment in a hurry and the two agents who assisted me in my search couldn't have been more helpful, knowledgeable, or reassuring. They found apartments for me to view that met my requirements and were in my price range. They gave useful pointers in filling out the necessary forms, Emails and phone calls to the agents were always promptly returned and questions answered even after what one would think to be regular business hours. They were always available. I had applied to view apartments with a number of agencies but Very Apt was the one that came through. I would recommend them without reservation.

Rebecca and Scott were so patient with me; I was in town for just a few days to look at units and felt really stressed not being able to secure a unit before leaving. Scott stepped in to save the day by doing a virtual tour of units I was unable to see in person. The feedback that they gave me in regards to finding a place to live was honest and I never once felt pressured. The site was easy to navigate and the reviews from other residents regarding the buildings were accurate. I have recommended the site to others in my program and would continue to recommend them in the future.
