verniershop.comReviews of verniershop.com

This company is completely disreputable. The bird feeders I ordered were in no way represented by the pictures of this product on their web site. They posted pictures of a Droll Yankees tube feeder and sent out a cheap, flimsy, smaller imitation. I have an original feeder and it matches the picture but not the product delivered. The ones I received are simply unacceptable. Calling the company will get you a surly rep telling you their policy concerning returns, buried in sub-paragraphs on the site, basically cuts you out. AVOID THIS MERCHANT!

Item was not working. I requested to return product. I was given some jargon about how much cost would be incurred and that they cannot accept return at this time. Their website clearly stated that they have free 30 day return and 1 year warranty. Instead I was refunded 40% of the purchase price. I am so upset about this con artist Vernier. My advice DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I WILL BE REPORTING THEM TO BETTER BUISNESS BUREAU

Just completed my 4th phone call to Vernier to check on the status of my refund for merchandise I returned on June 4th. All the calls ended with an assurance that someone would call me or email me with a status. I looked up the address that I was told to send the merchandise back to and google maps show it as a private residence in Charlotte NC. (NOT A WAREHOUSE). There is something really sketchy about this....... If I do not here back from them in 48 hours, I will be contacting the NC State's Attorney Generals Office-Consumer Protection AGency to file a formal complaint.

Paid extra to get it shipped within 3 days. Now 3 days has gone into 14 days can't get any response customer service is of no use just a kaka company wouldn't recommend them to anybody this is the reason why Amazon does so well even though I don't like a lot of the products Amazon has, at least they will ship the product and not just defecate on the customer!!!

Never received my paid for order. had to close my credit card to keep from being billed 29.99 a month for a subscription that I knew nothing of.How can this keep happening to people.I dont think they are even a company. Maybe a closet with a phone.

Bought a mobile ac unit to help keep my offgrid home cooler. It's wattage wouldn't strain my solar system. Was supposed to get confirm email with tracking number and delivery date. Nope. Called customer service. Asked for order number. Not on receipt and never got email. Transfers me to a ridiculous rude guy who repeated my name wrong and when I repeated he hung up. Called back 1rst guy who refused to give second guy number and transfered me again.2nd guy plays round about and I hung up. He called from his phone ha! To ask if I hung up then he hung up. Steer clear!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Wish I had read these negative reviews before ordering. The product didn't work for me, I emailed, Christy responded, I sent a photo. So I had to pay $7 to send the item back USPS, then a 15% restocking fee, all for a $21 product (yeah I'm an idiot). A few days later, got hit with the $29.99 membership fee, but Christy DID reverse the charge on my cc. I'm still waiting for my refund for the returned product, however. Here's the kicker though, my cc was compromised and had charges for stuff I never ordered. Some Vernier employee used my card. Chase caught it, canceled my card. Don't do business with this company!

$40 Product ( Garden Eagle on a Stand) sent was an absolute joke and not accurately depicted in their Google ad. To make matters worse, they attempted to bill my American Express card twice after the sale for something not authorized. I am led to believe it was an unauthorized series of charges connected with being in a special buyers' club. Fortunately, AmEx declined the charges. Think long and hard, and do your homework, before dealing with this company.
