I recently bought 2SJ74 BL from UTSource, which informs that the items sold are genuine and can be returned at no extra charge. They were advertised as used Toshiba originals. I received new and fake Chinese transistors. I complained and they didn't even respond.

I have bought some old 2SC2240, 2SC1030 and 2SD600/2SB631 transistors and all were counterfeit parts. Curves not similar to genuine parts. Hfe doesn't correspond with the suffix letter (230 instead of 350 to 700). TO-3 weight lighter than genuine parts. They clam that they were used parts but it's false because the legs never welded, bent or cut. Thousands of transistors that have not been manufactured for 40 years are still available. Complaint to Paypal with full refund. These fakes have ended up in the trash. I'm sure that lot of people buy their parts without know that they are fakes.

I ordered a couple items which their website claim they have 10s of thousands in stock, wait several days while they claim to be "collecting" the stock, finally "remind" them that I should've received these items by now, and receive an email saying they don't actually have any and will put my money into their funding account. Not a chance. Why would anyone do that? This chip is still listed as 10s of thousands in stock right now, even though they have no stock at all and apparently can't get any. They at least claim to be refunding me now. Good luck ordering from them.
