If I could give this company a zero I certainly would. They are nothing but a scam artist. I gave them a $2500 check to reserve a 26 foot truck. three days before the move Anthony calls me and tells me that I need a bigger truck and that they don’t have a 26 foot truck. I told him I wanted the truck that I reserved! He then proceeded to tell me that I would need another $14,000, I told him I didn’t have $14,000. He said I would only have to pay for the square footage that I actually used. They would weigh the truck when it got here. Then he stated that he wanted $4000 sent through Zelle or Venmo i told him I was not going to Venmo or Zelle him any money. He then stated come Monday morning there would not be a truck here to load my belongings. My son has made so many calls. Brian then states that Anthony has since been fired and he was extorting money from clients. My son then asks if I’m going to be refunded? He states to call him in a week. So he calls back a week later only to be told it’s in Billings hands. He asked for the number and was told to call the 800 number. All they have done is run us around. Now they don’t answer or hang up on you. I have filed several complaints and my son will be filing a police report. Nothing but CROOKS sitting around a table scamming the next victim.

Hello there Cheryl, we are extremely sorry you feel that way about our company. We did explain to your son that it was a former employee impersonating to be us during that call. It wasn't us!!! We did not receive a call from you to our Customer Service Department to ensure it was our actual Quality Assurance Department and cancelled without informing us as our truck was already in route to your pick up location. We did tried our best but being that it was cancelled so last minute and the truck was already in route our Billing Department did denied such request. Please keep in mind your deposit is still effective for the next 24 months from the date of your reservation and can be used towards a future move or transferred to a friend/family member moving in the near future.

This is one of the worse moving companies you can deal with. If you want bad costumer service bad movers and tack on fees that will cost you more than you expected than this is the company for you. It was a true nightmare dealing with this company. If you dig deep into this company you will find fake reviews on-line but the true reviews are the ones that give you a one star rating on how you swindle so many people. A business this bad should never be allowed to exist.

We were quoted for a move and paid our deposit. When the movers came (with their hired help from Craigslist) they loaded half of our belongings onto the truck and then doubled the price (from 3200 to 6800). Interstate will attempt to blame the consumer for giving an inaccurate estimate, when in reality, they just run a bait and switch with their pricing. The movers were far from professional, several of our items were broken. They also argued about how they were paying their hired help in our driveway! This company has literally made the local news for their scamming practices. Save yourself your money and the headache of having to deal with them.

Hi again Anne,
We can respond to your multiple negative reviews multiple times but unfortunately, that will not change the fact that no moving company in the US will take your items and additional amount of space taken on the truck for free. As explained to you multiple times already, we provide you with an estimate that is subject to change (as stated in our contract) due the sizes of your items. We are not physically at the pick up location to measure every single item, we go by a software created by the DOT that contains furniture standard sizes. Again, we are not a bait and switch company as you agreed to the price adjustment on site according to the cubic footage as we did not receive a call from you until after your delivery date. We are extremely sorry about your experience with us, but please stop with the online slandering to our company as you've done enough.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. On pick up day, no one came. I called numerous times the next day, and no one would return my call to give me a pick up day/time. I called for Jacob Baker, Operation Manager, and he told the man that took the call he would call me back in an hour. He never did. When I finally received a call back, I was told the original truck had issues, so my belongings, that I was told would be delivered in 3-5 business days, were taken to a warehouse and stored. Two weeks later, I get a call at 9:30pm stating the truck would be there the next day 10-2. I let him know I couldn't be there until 4:00pm because of the short notice. The truck showed up with only a driver. The driver asked for the remainder of the money, and I told him not until you get help, because you can't possibly unload a full house of furniture by yourself. He called his manager, Manny, who attempted to explain that I needed to pay first. I said I will pay on delivery, and your driver is unable to deliver. Manny said he would have someone here soon. He did.... Via a craigslist ad. My entertainment center is broken beyond repair, and the driver told me to get some wood glue. Carved wooden side table, broken. Box of glassware, broken. This company does not use professional movers. Both pick up and delivery were with rental trucks.

Worst company ever
Worst company ever - they are a broker and hire the worst movers. US Interstate severely underquoted us and we were extremely accurate with everything we had - the movers showed up and back 25 percent of the truck and said it would then go from $3400 to $6800!!! They only moved a 2 bedroom home… Also, the movers packed our stuff by not stacking and fitting things in properly so it would look as if they took up more room to charge more. This was confirmed at drop off when the movers weee refusing to pay the contract guys they hired in Houston a full truck worth - they told them “this is not a full truck. They packed the truck around and not properly. It’s just a half truck”. We got completely screwed - I would NEVER recommend US Interstate to anyone - then when we tried to call them Saturday like they told us to if the drivers tried charging more, they just ghosted us. I hope they go out of business soon a straight up crap service…..
-still missing items
-multiple things broken
-kids toys broken
If you are reading this, I’m telling you - STAY AWAY!!! Go to and actual moving company not a broker - they pulled the ll bait and switch….

Biggest scam ever around price and…
Biggest scam ever around price and delivery dates. Stay away from them at all costs. Their estimate was okay and fair but the contractor doing the moving on their behalf came into our apartment and told us we have to pay double because the estimate amount isn’t enough money for the distance. They charged us for 550 cf instead of the actual load of 411 cf has stacked, packed and measured by their contractor. They picked up our stuff on Oct 9 and promised a delivery from Seattle to Miami within 20 business days and today is Dec 6 and they are unable to provide a delivery date. On Nov 1 they told us our stuff hadn’t left Seattle but it would arrive the week of Nov 22. On Nov 26 they said it would be by Dec 1. On Dec 1 they told us the truck broke down and they don’t know. The agent we were talking to was Amanda. On Dec 6 they tell us there isn’t an Amanda working in their office and it should arrive on Dec 8 based on notes but they don’t know if that date will hold true.

If you live in FL this might be a great company. However they are brokers and did not move me although all the times I called and asked what their function was, they misrepresented their business. I ended up paying over 10k to move from VA to WV 432 miles. I am not a competitor. This is a true nightmare story.

Update 11/11/21- it’s veterans day today, I’m proud to have served. Our memories are in our belonging that now are lost forever as I am told by the company “The rest is lost”. The company hired by US interstate Van Lines was “Quick Move LLC “ run by incompetent, uncaring, fools from NJ. The answer I got regarding my loss was TOUGH, Very sad day for me and my family.
Update 12/13/21
No property yet, nor will there ever be. Half of my stuff gone vanished. I was told to put in a claim, I did 35 days ago. Nothing at all, o call and get the proverbial run around, I’ll get back to you, let me check on it, or get this, we’ll if you want better cooperation maybe you should amend the review…. Can you say quid pro quo? So I give you a better rating then you’ll help me, is that tampering with a claimant? Maybe, and I have that in writing.
Our photo and video memories are gone, through not fault of ours, they can’t be replace but my furniture and household items can……I’ll say it again I will speak to anyone who wants to know the truth about this company “US INTERSTATE VAN LINES “
Don’t do it, I WAS TOLD I COULD NOT LEAVE MY NUMBER FOR PEOPLE TO CALL ME SO I DID.
12/22/2021 update
I received a letter from the US INTERSTATE VAN LINES insurance company, they lost 1/2 my stuff; a few pieces of furniture and about 20 boxes of property (household items) the claims department wants to pay 50.00….yes FIFTY DOLLARS, you heard correctly. Merry Christmas they said. It’s a tragedy. I’m fighting with them every day. About 1500 to 2000 dollars worth of stuff and I get 50 bucks…ARE YOU KIDDING?
UPDATE 1/6/2022
US INTERSTATE VAN LINES IS NOW TRYING TO BULLY ME INTO REMOVING MY PHONE NUMBER FROM THIS REVIEW. I WILL NOT. I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE ANY COMPENSATION FOR MY LOSSES, FURTHERMORE I AM BEING STONEWALLED WHEN I CALL THEM, US INTERSTATE VAN LINES, TO TRY AND GET ANSWERS REGARDING COMPENSATION. “ “WE’LL CALL YOU BACK, WE ARE WORKING ON IT” “ LET ME SEE WHAT I CAN DO” THEY HOPE I WILL FORGET ABOUT IT, OH NAY NAY……..NEXT CALL I WILL MAKE, AS I WAS DIRECTED TO DO SO BY THE AG’S OFFICE IS TO THE FLORIDA CONSUMER AFFAIRS. ANYONE READING THIS PLEASE BE AWARE OF US INTERSTATE VAN LINES TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES.
1/30/2022 update I was ordered to remove my phone number from this review due to INTERSTATE VAN LINES COMPLAINT . US INTERSTATE VAN LINES DOES NOT WANT ME TO SHARE MY PHONE NUMBER WITH THE REVIEWER, what are they afraid of? Oh yea that some will contact me which they have. If I can get one person not to use US INTERSTATE VAN LINES it will have be worth the effort….. the company is a broker that brokers their moves to butchers of property and crooks, don’t believe me? We’ll wait and see.
Amazing that I can’t leave a contact number, what are they afraid of?
2/14/2022
After the last phone call from “B” of the US INTERSTATE VAN LINES, who is a supervisor I believe, asking me to change my review in order for him to help me, can you say quid pro quo? So again IF I give a good review they will help me LMAO. Common “B” give me a brake. Folks believe me this company is a farce it’s FUGAZY.

Update; my personal belongings are now nowhere to be found, B$$an, fill in the name, the smooth talking thief broker, will tell you he will take care of everything totally blew me off and forgot I existed. Pictures, videos, my daughters childhood memories gone. The liar I hired moves on the the next victim. What a travesty. Hire this company and you will regret it. The few good reviews you read must be fabrications. THIEVES ALL OF THEM

Santos,
I want to apologize for your negative experience with one of our agents. I can assure you we are doing everything we can to help you. Unfortunately, as you are aware when we did your move it went into a warehouse in NJ where we were hit with a hurricane and unfortunately our warehouse was affected by this. I understand how rough this can be and that is why we are doing everything we can to help you resolve this issue. Below, you can find an article showing that many people in NJ, NY, etc... were affected by this. We are more then happy to email you this information along with the police report we have from the loss of the warehouse. Again, we are extremely sorry about this and are more then willing to work with you and come up with any kind of compensation to relieve the loss of your items.
