SS needs to end this contract and find another. I have been fighting since April 15, 2021, with DE. I have over $200 in charges that I have disputed with them for items I have yet to receive. I also have sat on hold, for hours, only to have been passed around to 3 rude employees who each will need to tediously verify me before they pass me off to another. Everyone who has a DE card, receives benefits. If you get benefits, you don’t have endless funds and can’t afford to take the hit nor should have too. DE is suppose to have our backs. They do not. I’ll join that lawsuit….

Zero fraud assistance. Customer service agents are completely incompetent. Direct express also has arbitrary rules regarding merchants. I was told in their words "we block transactions to merchants we don't approve of" which include other banking sites run by people with actual brains like crypto apps and even Walmarts website.

Once again a few days later trying to get my 95 bucks back from direct Express from being hacked I sat on hold for 2 hours I did talk to a supervisor for about 5 minutes sat on hold for an additional hour and a half let you know where the worst customer service there is ever. Do yourself a favor do not use this company there are a bunch of uneducated employees working for the company nobody likes to do their job.

For 11 days tried to talk with a human. Got through today 4 times. Got hung on 3 times. 4th time in the midst of a question i was asking was cut off. Stopped the young man and he said I was being rude. Explained how him cutting me off is rude and asked for supervisor. Hung up on when asked for that 3 times before. Talked with supervisor and also not helpful. They need to go to classes regarding customer service. My whole work life was customer service. Rule #1 is listen. They do not. Switching to a credit union.

It's a trip off you get charged at arms everytime you withdraw your money. Customer service is terrible.Do yourself a favor get rid of this card and get a bank account

If you can go with another company for your direct deposit, please do. Did a dispute for a transaction that should not have happened. Wrote them within the 10 day period. I still didn't get my money back....soo pissed. Since when does any prepaid debit allow merchants to charge for merchandise when there's no money on the card. Only to take my entire direct deposit when it came in. I didn't even give the merchant Big Lots permission to charge me anything.
