AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! This is the most terrible company to get a loan from. I got covid right when I got a loan for my vehicle. I was out of work for over a year and did not miss one payment. I had one late payment and asked for a deferment payment for one month and was denied bcuz I had one late payment in a year. I filed for financial help to defer payments and do a term loan extension and was denied bcuz I did not have a job but was still making payments exhausting my life savings. I told them I had a new job and was still denied help. I recently got my hours cut at a new job and applied again and was denied again! Based on insufficient income. No kidding that’s why I applied for the help!! They send automated letters and emails saying to please contact because they want to help. You call and they say oh we are just calling to collect your payment. No help with a deferment to help me get back on track or a term loan extension to lower my payment! This company needs to be investigated for predatory loans and fraud.

abysmal service. incompetent staff. i changed my address online in my account AND had opted only for electronic communication from the day i opened my account and even after that they sent 3 confidential letters to an old address. since i have notification set up with USPS on all correspondence being sent to me and i have the latest one sent 2 days ago to that old address - AGAIN. when i wanted to close my CD and eventually my account for security reasons stemming from THEIR incompetence and negligence they said i couldnt do it without a $1000 penalty (on a 50,000 deposit) -2% - for a CD that was opened less than 2 weeks ago, again to try to save my account from fraud because of THEIR screw up. incompetent bank where departments dont communicate and databases seem to be outdated (the mailing dept pulled up the old address that was updated in my online account 2 before that mailing date). should a bank staffed with people who are so careless and don't have basic intelligence to see whats in front of their faces even be allowed to operate and handles people's hard earned money?

I paid off my unsecured home improvement loan over a week ago. 3 days later, after I did not receive a payment receipt, I saw that my account information had been removed from their website. I asked for a letter of fulfillment at that time and was told it would take 3-5 business days to get it. I asked if it could be expedited and was told they would get it to me in 1-2 business days. I did not receive it as promised and inquired about it today. I was told by Christine, a "member service specialist," that it would take another 1-2 business days. We are in escrow and on a tight timeline. I should not have to wait 8-9 business days for a simple letter for a payment that has already cleared my bank and has satisfied the loan payoff requirements.

They don't offer overdraft protection from your high yield account. They return your payment and charge a fee even though you have ten times the amount to cover it sitting in your high yield liquid account. They lure you with high interest rates ɓut then it gets eaten up by fees. The alerts I set up don't work.

I joined US Alliance to help fill out a CD ladder I was building. They had maybe the best 2-year CD interest rate in the nation. Joining, opening a CD account, and funding the CD (from an *external* account) were all fairly easy and painless. I was required to open another account; I chose to open a savings account and fund it with $1. As of this writing the CD is fully funded but they haven't funded the savings account.
