Big time scammers - beware. I had this man in the phone wanting me to depart with 2.500 dollars when it is clear stated on the US immigration website that they do not charge a fee for processing applications. He did not even tell me his name. Why would l give you my money. I really feel sorry for those that will fall victim to this man hiding under a scammers label.

I saw a post on FB about the Green Card Lottery, and that you had to fill out a few things to see if you could join the program. I did, but then I had to pay $39. I didn't want to, because I don't really need a Green Card, it was actually more for fun that I filled it out. The next day I got an email saying I hadn't completed my application. I emailed back that I no longer wanted to participate. Then they called me and persuaded me to join anyway. It came across as very believable. It was an exhausting phone call, because I had to spell our names and address all over the place. Then came the announcement that I had to pay $389 through my visa card. I had to give my number and stupidly I did. Whether I wanted to give permission for that amount to be debited. I unfortunately did. Then they told me I would get emails because I had to send additional information, including a picture of our passports. Surely that was going too far for me, and I emailed them that I wanted to stop. But they kept emailing and calling. I blocked my visa card and applied for a new one. My Visa consultant said that the request was done from Tel Aviv (immediately I thought of Hamas). I'll ask Dutch authorities about what to do with our passports. Later I read the reviews here, should have done it sooner. And the official USA website of the Green Card Lottery reports that the application is always free and any email account from them always ends in .gov. The USAGCO website itself says that it is not affiliated with the US government. So I fell for this scam and hope this review will help potential new victims not to fall for it. Update dec. 11 2023: after my email I didn't want to participate due to my age and I wanted a cancellation of my application, apparently they took that to heart and refunded me for the same amount. So in this respect they treated me neatly. The Dutch authorities told me to Never Ever send a personal photo. Without a personal photo they cannot use the data you provided them. Scam like everyone has stated The company popped up on my IG so I started to complete the eligibility process and when it took me to a payment page I immediately cancelled the process as it seemed fraudulent. I received an email asking me to complete the eligibility process which I ignored and unsubscribed. I then received a call from a number apparently in Florida but the person I spoke to didn’t have an American accent. She explained to me that she needed to help me complete the eligibility application. I asked her if she could email me some details about what they do and she said they already emailed me when I started the application. Now, the email you receive doesn’t tell you anything. I told her not to worry as the whole thing seemed like a scam. She insisted that it wasn’t and she just needed some of my details to see if I’m eligible. I told her that she can use the details for this eligibility test to steal my identity. She said that if I can’t trust her with that information then I wouldn’t be able to trust her to provide my card details over the phone. I told her that I didn’t. She said my application would be discarded for non-payment. I said, okay. And she just hung up. Be mindful people. If you are being asked to make a payment and it is not clear what you’re getting in return, do not make that payment. Your money and your identity is not only valuable to you but also to scammers.

Anche io come ahimè altri di voi sono caduta nella Trappola. In un momento di distrazione e superficialità ho pagato 384 dollari Ma poi ( troppo tardi) ho mangiato la foglia, la green card lottery è gratuita Purtroppo ho dato i miei dati Non ho inviato le foto richieste e ho provveduto a bloccare la carta di credito Provvederò a fare al più presto una denuncia alla polizia postale Più che altro Per gli Estremi del documento di identità Per i soldi penso che non ci sarà molto da fare anche se proverò ad avere un risarcimento dalla banca visto che sono stata truffata.

Mi unisco a coloro che considerano dei gran truffatori questi di USAGCO. Chiedono soldi per qualcosa che è TOTALMENTE GRATUITA come la Green Card Lottery!!! Dopo una lunga, estenuante intervista, passano all'attacco chiedendoti i dati della carta di credito per il pagamento di 300 dollari e rotti. Ma il pagamento di che??? Gran ladroni davvero! Gli ho detto che avrei voluto approfondire la cosa perché ricordavo di aver letto che la domanda di partecipazione fosse del tutto gratuita e chiesto di essere eventualmente richiamato, ma mi hanno risposto che non potevano, che mi sbagliavo e che se non avessi pagato in quel momento avrei perso la chance di ottenere la carta verde. E amen...
