It’s too early to tell if it like it or not..it’s been 28 days and I only have yellow lights from it so maybe when I start getting some green I will be happier. The lights in general are kind of confusing.
Response from Usa DaysyJun 12, 2018
Hi Alexandria, You will see yellow days until the first menstruation is entered, as Daysy doesn't know where you are in your current cycle without that information. I will reach out to you directly to help clear up any confusion about the lights.

Not super impressed
It takes quite a while for the device to learn your cycle and even though it only takes a minute to do your temperature, it’s harder to remember to do first thing in the morning than you would realize. I usually wake up with other things on my mind and as soon as I get out of bed, I can no longer take my temperature for that day. I’ve also experienced some technical issues when trying to connect to the app with error messages saying my battery is dead when it’s not in fact dead.
Response from Usa DaysyJun 12, 2018
Hi Kristen, The learning phase with Daysy is considered to be the first 3-4 cycles of use while the device comes to understand your unique cycle rhythm, but the green days you receive during this time are reliable. The battery notification is easily fixed, and we will reach out to you directly to resolve this issue.

Needs some additional features to make it more user friendly
Update: I was contacted by Lea at Customer Care and given specific instructions that were very helpful. Unfortunately, I just had to reset the app because it had an app glitch, but Lea was very helpful in that regard as well. I'm looking forward to utilizing Daysy to its full potential and may be updating my review if it is even better than I anticipate moving forward!
Original Post: I've been using Daysy for going on 6 months now. It is very easy to use, but has not helped me understand my own cycle. I would be much happier with this tool if it had a way to read my own temperature so that I could be empowered to understand my own fertility instead of dependent on this device to do all of the thinking for me. I've also found it challenging to change input. For example, when trying to enter the days I am menstruating it is easy to push the (only) button the wrong amount of times and have the device register incorrectly. It needs a few more ways to add/edit info and should be helping me understand how to track my cycle even if Daysy were to break!

Hi Sara, I'm sorry to hear you do not feel Daysy has helped you to understand your unique cycle. Do you use the DaysyView app? If you sync Daysy to your phone or iPad, you can see all of your temperature values, temperature curve, calendar view, cycle statistics (including average cycle length, average ovulation day, average temperature step upon ovulation, ovulation range, etc.). I will reach out to you directly to be sure you're able to access your information.

Might be helpful later
I have been using Daysy for almost a full month and it's not super helpful yet since almost all days are yellow or red. Daysy also won't sync with my phone (I had to go excavate an old Nexus5 to get it to sync with any device I owned). I could see it being useful once I had a lot of data in there to make good recommendations, but that will take a bit. Daysy's support team is very helpful though!

When I first bought it the the battery…
When I first bought it the the battery was giving me problems, so I sent it back and they gave me a new one. Then it wasn’t syncing with the app correctly. It’s working now, but sometimes my data changes when it syncs. I’m just saying, I use this as birth control so I’d rather it be correct all the time than just sometimes, you know? And when you pay an upwards of 350+ and it doesn’t work? Like come on.

It often takes more than one try to get a reading, which is frusturating when you have just woken up but have to wait to get up to go the the toilet. Also, the thermometer and app do not communicate as smooth as I would have imagined. Adjusting menustration is difficult, sometimes impossible, once the day has past, and it would be nice if other things could be noted in the tracker, such as cramps, bloating, discharge, etc.

Hi JP, Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear you've had frustration with your device. We will reach out to you directly to help relieve these concerns. Many users use the Notes section in the app to track other fertility signs or menstrual symptoms.
