I can only say amazing things about Upsolve. They were very helpful and made filing my bankruptcy a smooth, easy process. I was so scared to take this step and after going back and forth with myself for almost 2 years, I finally just broke down and did it and I am so glad I did. If it was not for Upsolve I would’ve never been able to do this by myself. It was a very rough road with the actual courts but with up solve it made it just a little bit easier. I didn’t spend $3000 on a lawyer. I only spent $338 on filing fees.

I was always told that you have to get an attorney to file bankruptcy. And I always thought wow if I’m in a situation where I need to file bankruptcy how am I to afford the 3-4k retainer for a bankruptcy lawyer? Using Upsolve was a super easy process they literally walked me through the paperwork informed me of all education and fees. I filed pro se and remained pro se throughout the entire 4 month process. My trustee even complemented me on my knowledge and ability to get all my needed paperwork better than most filers with attorneys! Upsolve truly helped me and made me feel confident throughout the entire process. My advice to all future filers is to use Upsolve and skip all the expensive extra steps. Now that I have my discharge I am gonna walk my partner through the same process I used using Upsolve. With Upsolve bankruptcy doesn’t have to be scary. And they are there the whole time to cheer you on! You won’t ever be alone. Thank you Upsolve from the bottom of my heart!
