Signed up for universal Yuma box, it took forever to ship. I cancelled our subscription in February. Lo and behold, I am charged for a box the end of March When I tell them by email, since no one answers a phone up there, they want to go ahead and send me the box then cancel. Uh No! I cancelled, don't want another box, return my money. This is going no where, but then, again, no one answers a phone.

I bought this for my wife, anniversary gift, in January 2021. First box was supposed to arrive before our anniversary but didn't show. Their site changed the date to February 1st. It still didn't show. The site then changed the date to the end of February. The company will not respond to messages. I tried to get Paypal to help, took forever, then the company provided a tracking number for a delivery. Paypal then refused to refund my money. Unfortunately I paid for a year's subscription in advance. Guess I'm going to have to continue to try to get my money back each month to get the company to fulfill their service.

The first box has been in route for a month. Was a gift. Reached out via Facebook and was told "shipping is not our issue". If you are a subscription service shipping is fundamentally YOUR issue.

Worst experience ever, almost 2 months to ship first box, the day I finally gave up and asked to cancel my order, THEN I received a shipping notification, order was for a Christmas gift, it’s now November and it still hasn’t been received. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!

The pandemic has changed my gift giving habits. Normally I try to give gifts that offer my loved ones an experience but since that is much more limited right now when I saw your ad on my Facebook Feed I thought it was a way to give them an experience without having to leave their home. In November I purchased two 3 month subscriptions for friends and two 6 month subscriptions for family and I was so excited to hear their reaction, but that never came. I had thought surely as soon as they received their box they would reach out to me to tell me all the fun things they tried, but they didn't. I didn't think much about that again until I purchased a box of assorted items (this order) that I wanted to put together as Valentine's gifts. It arrived and I was so excited to see all the fun treats, until I realized that almost everything in the box was broken from the cookies to the chips to the hard candies. It was a mess! Then I realized why no one who I had gifted one of these boxes to reached out to me because what they received was such a poor product they didn't want to tell me. I am very disappointed, but even worse I am embarrassed. I am known for giving quality gifts and I thought this would be one of the best, but it certainly isn't. I had not opened any of the items in the box and I would be willing to send it back for a refund, but they refuse to give a refund and will only send more of what I now don't want.

I wanted to give Universal Yums a chance, I wanted to think the best of them but they’ve really turned me completely off of them as a company. First, I ordered the largest box as a gift to try out. I ordered it in January. (Within the first or second week) My order was due to be shipped January 29th. I received an email that it would be delayed to February 5th at the latest. February 8th comes around and I still haven’t received my package or even heard of anything of it being shipped. I check on the website, and it says to be shipped on February 3rd. I contact customer service but it says at least 5 day wait time. Someone suggests using their social media as they’re better about responses. I contact them on Instagram and Facebook and receive a reply the next day. My order will be shipped out on tomorrow! February 9th! I get excited, thank them for responding. February 9th goes by and the order is not shipped or touched at all and I don’t even receive an email from them. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but it just feels like a company that has no concern for their customers. Do yourself a favor and just skip it. I’ll probably try a different box in the future once I have the free cash to put towards it again.

Based on the initial holiday box, I would give the company 5 stars. But I have been waiting for the next box to come with multiple different shipping dates and it has yet to arrive. Good luck with customer service. They only deal in emails that never get responded to. Don't waste your money.

I have been with universal yums for almost a year now. The first couple of months were great. I didnt have any issues with shipment and constantly bought more snacks from their shop. However the past 3, almost 4 months now, have been an absolute nightmare. I have been paying for my boxes but have not recieved a single delivery in three months, this includes orders from the shop. They sent me a replacement box and that also did not arrive. I decided to give up and ask for a refund and my membership cancelled. Apparently they don't do refunds. They can only send replacement boxes, which was a nice idea the first month but after months of not receiving a product, I just wanted my money back! I went back and forth with their customer service team for weeks just trying to get my money back. Their policy is a new box or nothing. So instead of leaving a customer on good terms they would rather steal their money. I have now lost three months worth of money to this AWFUL company. Do NOT support their business.
