Horrible experience - package tracking says UPS delivered it to USPS. USPS does not have it and when I try to call UPS it takes 20 minutes to get to a person and then that person just passes me off to some other dept until I get hung up on. As others have said Ashleigh in customer service is useless and refuses to help. I don't expect to ever receive this package.

Ordered Italian jellies four fruit flavors. Box arrived with very large bag containing 27 pieces of candy and lots of air. Only three flavors in bag: strawberry, blueberry and gooseberry no raspberry. Also not in equal amounts: there were 2 blueberry 8 strawberry and 17 gooseberry. Web page picture show very nice size candies but they are quite small and not very good. Don't recommend and wouldn't buy again!

Ashleigh L. Could definitely use some better customer service training. I sent pictures of my crushed, damaged, sticky box and asked for a refund or a replacement. Ashleigh then responded “it happens” and I was told to go ahead and consume the opened damaged products anyway. After asking, yet again, for a replacement box or a refund and/or for her to cancel my subscription, she said she would send a replacement. I’ve been a loyal customer of Universal Yums for over a year, but bad customer service like this, is not a good look for the company.

I got a box that was damaged and crushed, and when I emailed about it I asked for a refund because the snacks inside were not appealing to me and therefore another identical box would just be a waste of shipping and food. Ashleigh L. completely ignored me asking for a refund and said another box would be on its way! I had to repeat myself several times before she agreed to "just this once" refund me, since it was "against their policy". I don't understand why it would be against policy to refund a damaged product. They made it part of their policy to not issue refunds? That right there is shady. So, I asked her (Ashleigh L.) to cancel my subscription (I even said please!) she had the nerve to tell me I should do it myself, I wasn't being nice enough and I shouldn't speak to her in such a way. This is unbelievable coming from the Senior Customer Service Specialist. I worked customer service before and I would never ever speak to a customer in that way no matter what they said to me or in what tone. That's part of a customer service job. I see from other reviews that it's clearly an issue with this specific employee. It's a shame, because she is the sole reason I decided to cancel my subscription. ETA: turns out that Ashleigh sent out the replacement I urged her not to send anyway, blatantly going against customer wishes.

Almost all the items I received from a large order placed through the Yums shop expire in the next couple of months, one in just 3 days. I had been previously told that they won't send anything less than a month away from expiration (and generally processed, packaged goods often have a shelf life of a year or more). Their customer service is abysmal - refused to allow a return/exchange of anything other than the one thing that expires in 3 days even though I took the time to explain and document everything with photographs. This is a deceptive practice.

These snacks are mediocre at best. I received a variety box (from all countries) and there were at least 4 bags of popcorn included - so much for variety. My second box shipped before my first box even arrived. How would I know if this is a subscription I want to continue if I haven't even received the first order? This identifies unethical practices with the company. There is no way to speak to anyone by phone (red flag number 1). When I contacted them via email to return the 2nd (unopened) box and receive a refund, I was advised that they do not honor refunds and do not accept returns. The agent I spoke with (Ashleigh L.) was extremely rude and this alone makes me not ever want to do business with this company again. I am currently disputing these charges with my credit card company, but I'm hoping I can save someone the stress of dealing with this company. Simply put - STEER CLEAR!

We ordered a 3 month subscription to start. I loved it the first month but the subsequent months I started having my doubts as we were sent expired things from a “use by date” that was over two months old in both. I contacted the company to discuss and was never given a reply.

Very bad selection not representing traditional snacks. At least Czech selection is pretty bad.
