I ordered a 3 month subscription which started in December. We were supposed to receive the holiday box first, I got my email saying the box was shipped but the tracking number wasn't working. 2 weeks later, no box, but the tracking number says it was delivered. We do not live in an area where package stealing is a concern. I contacted customer support and the holiday box is "out of stock" and all they have is India. Which we opted for and actually received. January rolls around, I get no email saying my box has shipped just that it has been delivered. We received no box for January. I contact customer support, again, the Austria box is "out of stock" but they have India as a replacement. If I wanted multiple boxes of Indian snacks I can go to my local Asian market and pick them myself. Mind you the snacks were delicious, and the box does have cute little information cards, but that is not the point. Something went wrong here, and I'd just rather tell people what happened to me, and let them decide for themselves if they want to risk not getting what they're paying for.

Had a few good boxes with great assortment- and then january box was charged, never shipped (it’s now 2 1/2 weeks after I was charged) and they won’t respond to any emails or requests for assistance. I’ve been trying for over 10 days. Cancelled subscription, filed chargeback with my bank and don’t recommend to anyone.

SCAM! I wish I found this page before ordering. Yup same. Ordered a 6 months gift subscription on 1/7/23 for my Nephew's birthday. Received an email on 1/9/23 that the package is ready to ship with UPS tracking. Great! it will arrive in time for his birthday a week later. Birthday rolls around... no package... no status change in tracking "Ready to ship". Emailed support 1/17/23, no response other than the auto response that they received support request. 2nd email sent today 1/20/23, same n response, no phone number to call, no online chat bot. Contacting my CC company to dispute the charge. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Buyer beware!!! I have had my box “out for delivery” for over a month already. I contacted the company via email since they do not have a phone number and never received a response. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and then what do you know…. Universal Yums suddenly got my email and responded. But are refusing to refund my money on a 3 box subscription even though I haven’t received a single box… at this point the second box should have been shipped by now and it hasn’t. They have now cancelled my subscription and kept my money… stay FAR FAR AWAY from this company!!! I should have did my homework and read reviews first so shame on me for that.

Ordered two subscriptions as Christmas gifts for my two grandsons. One arrived and the other never did. I was definitely charged for both. Customer service is awful and never gets back to you. Will never order from them again.

Universal Yums seems like it’s become a money hungry corporation. Between never receiving my items and poor customer service, it’s become obvious what they really think of you. If you’re really curious about the company just read what their employees say on Glassdoor. If they treat their employees terribly then they definitely do not care about their customers.

We have enjoyed Universal Yums sine 2018 but clearly something fishy is going on. They did not deliver our December box and given their facebook feedback this happened to a lot of people. They don't respond to inquiries, the phone goes to voicemail, and they don't refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. There is no customer service.

This is the second time ordering from this company. The first time was successful. The gift was delivered and thoroughly enjoyed. I ordered 2 gifts this year the first week of December. Both packages were shipped at the same time and one was delivered and the other was not. I have checked the tracking and it doesn't update anything past Dec. 13, 2022. I have reached out to customer service 3 times via email and attempted to call the company with a number that I found online. It went to their voicemail, which I chose to leave a detailed message requesting a call back. I haven't heard back at all! I understand that the world is short staffed right now, but when you sell a product thats expensive like that and can't take the time to make it right by your customers is unfortunate. This company has awful customer service and is completely unacceptable! My orders will be cancelled and I will file something to have my money returned. Shame on this company!
