I too am surprised at the comments about poor customer service. I have a gift subscription for my grandson in place, and when they moved I forgot to change their address and the box was shipped to the old address. Universal Yums graciously offered to change the address for me and ship him a new box. And show me how to change it myself next time. Both grandkids love the boxes! I appreciate the great service.

I Love Universal Yums! I have been recieving the monthly treats for almost two years. I love the product so much I have given several gift subscriptions. Recently I recieved treats from the same country back to back. When I notified the company they checked their records which indicated the proper box should have been sent. The company offered to send the box again and I was enjoying my Yums within the week. Thank you for the excellent service.

This is a wonderful company. We have enjoyed the first box that we received. Lots of fun treats, and information was included in our box. The company helped me with my order, and I will continue to order from them. This has been such a fun experience, I have told all of my friends about these boxes.

I love Yum!! The few problems I have had, I sent a message and it has been cleared up immediately then there has always been a follow up as well. I purchased two subscriptions so that my family located in Colorado can continue to enjoy the monthly treats! Now if I can only figure out how to film is AND them at the same time as we enjoy the box!!

Sent a year subscription to my daughters, grandchildren and nieces as a Christmas gift. They have enjoyed receiving these boxes each month. Great gift suggestion.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Universal Yums! My grandson is a geography nut and I thought he would enjoy this. He LOVES it! He's only gotten 3 boxes so far, but they are great. They are plentiful and have a wide variety of treats. There's usually enough of each item that everyone can have a try. The couple of times I've had to contact their customer service department I've been treated with respect and a swift resolution. I recommend and will probably extend my subscription!

I am really *shocked* by all the negative customer service comments. Our own experience with customer service over the last year has been wonderful. I have contacted them several times over the past year for various things: I receive a gift box and wanted to upgrade for a month; my box was delayed by a week (was actually USPS’s delay), I wanted to take advantage of a promo but needed to do something not normally done, etc. They have always been very helpful, taken care of my problem, and fairly prompt in their replies (within 1-2 business days). In a few instances I have felt they have really gone out of their way to help me with an unusual request/situation. The product itself has been great and we have really enjoyed receiving boxes. We were gifted a box for Christmas, and it was fun to try out different snacks. There is usually a variety of crunchy and sweet things in each box. Some are a little unusual; some seem like they would fit right in on shelves here in the US. None are “gourmet” or specialty snacks–they are snacks you would expect to be cheap and readily available in their respective countries. We actually use this subscription as a fun way to learn geography for my son. We get the smallest box, but wish we could afford the largest box–there are always snacks we wish we could try! We enjoy reading the pamphlet that comes in, and guessing at the trivia. My son finds the country on the globe, we read the pamphlet, look up facts from a library book, look up famous people/historical events, and often make the recipe that is included in the pamphlet. It’s been a very enjoyable learning tool for us, and we love giving them as gifts to family members for Christmas (and they have LOVED receiving them). We look forward to enjoying our boxes every month!

My family looks forward to receiving our box every month! It’s a fun way to try new things and learn about a new place. My kids age 8 and 11 impatiently wait each month. They especially live trying all the new candies. When we recently moved and I forgot to change my address in time, I had no issue contacting customer service. Though it was not an immediate response, Ashleigh made sure our new address was updated and even sent out a new shipment. Outstanding!! We will continue our subscription, as it’s a fun family activity. Thanks Universal Yums
