The actual spa has been OK. Their customer service in DFW has NOT. Their local repairman, Isaiah came to my home on August 26 to assess the problem. He stated that it needed: a new pump, circuit board, ozonator, overlay. Told me he had to order parts and it would be about 10 days. Collected $1,980 CASH from me. I have called and texted him several times. I emailed the Tuff Spa company and reported this situation. He called me Friday and said he was out here and the parts weren't the correct ones (what BS-he's the repairman). Said he'd be out here today. I just called him at 4 pm....more excuses, said he'd try to make it out later today. Today is October 5. If he didn't have my money, I'd call the police and find someone else.

Well, we purchased our TuffSpa during Covid & shortly after that TuffSpa was purchased by LPI which makes many brands. I won’t go into all of the “gory details” but it was a messy marriage (between ourselves & LPI) for the first few years. When I was just about to give up, LPI’s new VP of customer service reached out to us to introduce himself and ask us to give him an opportunity to make things right. This process had some ups & downs as well as he was getting his feet wet but in the end, LPI finally got it right & made it right. We now have a spa that we enjoy using and a spa cover that does what we expected it to do. The unique TuffSpa cover was the primary reason we purchased our TuffSpa. I am now a full convert from don’t buy a TuffSpa to recommending TuffSpa.

With a name like TuffSpa I really would expect them to be more ... tough. They are considerably lacking in that department. The cover has to be babied and handled delicately or else it gets bent out of shape and the seal is compromised, resulting it making it much less energy efficient and debris can get inside. If you ever need parts like filters (they have specific filters you can only order from them) good luck! I have been waiting for mine for over 3 months! Customer service is pathetic. They avoid your calls and emails. They rarely get back to you. I wish I had bought a more substantial spa like Hot Springs.
