Tour was fabulous and our guide, Jose Illanes, is a world-class birder. And, a wonderful person. Dont think we could have enjoyed the trip more.

Excellent itinerary led by a really terrific guide, Ben Knoot. This was an intensive (but not physically demanding) birding trip that was intended to see as many Australian birds as possible. But the trip was more than just birds. We saw an amazing number of mammals, reptiles, and butterflies as well. This tour more than met my expectations. I will definitely travel with Tropical Birding again.

The Tropical Birding tour of eastern Australia was excellent in that we were in a small group (ensuring everyone got good looks/assistance finding the birds, the guide was extremely knowledgeable about all species and where to find them, and the trip afforded the opportunity to see a great swath of eastern Australia including Tasmania.

The tour was wonderful - covering almost 2,000 miles from Curitiba to Belo Horizonte and discovering 458 species of birds. Beautiful sights! Nick Athanas is an expert bird finder and is fascinating to watch. Also picked up some good photo tips from him. We already miss the place and want to do it again!

Fito Downs is an excellent guide and works hard to help all his clients see the birds and obtain photos if possible. The tour schedule is well organized to spend time in a variety of habitats. I felt well taken care of and was always kept informed of what was going to happen next.

One of the most amazing trips I have ever taken! Our guide, Ken, was amazing! Knows his stuff. Felt safe and in good hands the entire time. Everything was planned to the last detail. They were very accommodating to our travel issue/delay and made sure we caught up! Fantastic.
