Tropical Birding ToursReviews of tropicalbirding.com

My wife and I had a wonderful experience. The tour was well thought out and well executed. The lodgings were all excellent. The bus was roomy and comfortable. Our guide, Jose, was phenomenal. We saw all the birds we were hoping to see and more, 350 plus species for the trip. The pace was comfortable. We never felt rushed or exhausted. I can't wait to go on another trip with Tropical Birding.

Just returned from an excellent birding trip in Costa Rica under the expert guidance of José Illanes. It exceeded every trip participant's expectations! We can certainly recommend both the company and this knowledgeable and helpful guide.

Wonderful trip. knowledgeable guides. Nice diversity of wildlife. Only recommendation would be to make it easier for working professionals to attend would be to have it start on a Saturday or Sunday and conclude on a Friday afternoon or Friday evening. That way people could return home and be back to work on Monday.

Everything was excellent - the guide's knowledge and attention to clients, the accommodations and food, the pace and all activities included. Effort was made, successfull, to see all of th endemic birds.

Pre-trip information and response to my questions was excellent, every detail of the tour was looked after, I am very happy with the photos I took, I saw so many beautiful birds...

We experienced a photo tour in Ecuador, organized by Tropical Birding with our leader, Pablo. The trip exceeded our expectations. Pablo has been a perfect leader, friendly and caring. We were able to photograph 32 different species of hummingbirds. The multi-flash sessions were very satisfying. The food was very good, especially at Tandayapa Lodge, where the new chef, Luis, dazzled us. This was our first trip with Tropical Birding and it was a great success. Michel

Well planned, well executed and lots of fun. Have toured with 10 different Tropical Birding guides on multiple trips all over the world and have had uniformly great experiences.

This is such an excellent birding company. The guides are so knowledgeable, not just about all the birds but other animals, plants, and the country in general. Days are well-organized to make the best use of time, and the guides are tenacious in locating birds so everyone gets a view whenever possible.
