We had the early evening menu however despite booking this I was originally presented with the 5 course tasting menu which was double the price. It was a bit of a cheeky upselling tactic. I asked for the early evening menu and the waiting staff looked embarrassed. The food was faultless. Soft shell crab was amazing as was the duck kebab. My only criticism was the sommelier I'm sorry to say. I had asked for a wine pairing and maybe because I was distracted by all the amazing food that was arriving perhaps he mistook this for ignoring him which I'm sorry if that was the case. But after that he was just plain rude when I later asked for a dessert wine pairing he just set the drinks down and immediately walked off. Even when we were leaving everyone else said good bye but he just looked at us pass by and said nothing acting like a petulant child. I'm sorry but this is poor customer service and I'd expect better professionalism from a Michelin star restaurant even if he did feel slighted. It ruined a beautiful culinary experience. I would return as the food was lovely.

Had the taste menu in private dining, the food was average, charged £30 for water and the room was covered in beer flies. They kept landing on the breads. Ordered a cobra received a half pint which came three quarters full every time. Staff were friendly and attentive but how this restaurant has a Michelin star does evade me

Was starving and stumbled upon this Indian restaurant that kindly squeezed a table although it was peak hour and no reservation was made. Turned out that they have one Michelin star so the menu was obviously a little pricey for common folk.
