Treasury of Norfolk I paid property tax on my 2018 Chevy Cruze 246.00 on 7/24/14 I traded it in for a 2024 it was closed out DMV closed it out and that car was solely in my name it was a credit I didn’t no about the credit I called to find out why they were holding the check I am on my daughter truck they said well it hasn’t been paid and since your name was on it we applied that 192.00 on that account the fact that I wouldn’t have never known if I mad not called so be mindful they city of Norfolk do what they want do they want them late fees it’s really stealing that’s what it is stealing all day long I over paid one year they tried to keep my money then my daughter did a bankruptcy and they sent her money back in my name they do if they wanna do so for now on I’m in person I’ve had two accounts for the past five years and she has always paid her late. I have always paid mines on time the last time I went there and paid I didn’t have to pay but my own I didn’t pay hers so when you sent in a check, be mindful cause they. That was my vehicle solely about that vehicle so again people be mindful they crooked at the treasury office the city of Norfolk they nasty rude and they think they can just do what they wanna do they are nasty and the last time I paid my property taxes for my 2018 Chevy Cruz in person I did not repeat I did not pay yet on that other truck because my daughter does and that’s the way to continue to be crooked from the supervisor in the treasury office definitely so I didn’t call about the credit I called because I wanted to know why they were so doing that check they must’ve couldn’t figure out whether they was going to cash it or not because it was for $246 because that’s what they said I owed for my 2018 Chevy Cruz they gonna say whatever we gonna put it towards the truck is it crooked? Virginia make up laws? The public needs to know if you have a problem with the city of treasurers office you need to write it up. Send it to the Bättre business bureau. they have an adjusted that $295 for my other truck they still got to own as 295. It should be 195 not 295. They should’ve did that when they cashed that check and applied it but they didn’t because I asked the supervisor, the one that thought he was gonna keep my check one day I made a payment they crooked they just crooked is today is Dunn and so what if my name is in another vehicle you jealous because the lady that called me back must be Nosy cause she searched, she knew that name was connected to vehicles cause she said it lady mind your business I promise you it won’t happen again she not the only one who pays late that’s her business if they were Audit it would show that but to cash a check that had nothing to do with the Other vehicle was a mess she could have asked if I wanted to so go in person or call to make sure what the payment is in spite of your bill they wasn’t going say DMV gave you a credit it’s the principal and had the nerve to think I am going pay 295.00 when it should be 195 .00 it should have been that when they cashed the check now they still trying get 295.00 after you said you took 103.00 from the 246.00 make it make since and they not doing what they want do
