I've shopped here many times in the past and I always go back to them. I was in the mood for a new Lionel Train set, so after looking at Lionel's web-site, I had down to two sets. It was a toss-up between #2523130, Pennsylvania Keystone 0-8-0 LionChief Set with Bluetooth 5.0 w/Remote or the newly updated #2623150, Pennsylvania Keystone 0-8-0 LionChief Set with Bluetooth 5.0 (Remote Sold Separately) I compared the two very carefully on Lionel's website and I noticed in the description of the newly updated set without remote they listed Smoke control as a feature. I thought wow, you can now control how much smoke it produces. As you know most starter sets you can't tell it's actually smoking. So, I opted to get the newly updated version with no remote just so I could control the smoke output. So, to trainwold I went. I added it to my cart along with a universal remote. Upon getting the set, I started to read the instructions and setting it up. Between reading the instructions and looking at the locomotive, I saw no mention of how to control the smoke. I put it on the track and well, I wasn't impressed. I think it smokes better than any other starter set, but still not all that noticeable. I emailed Lionel and I asked them how to control it. Their response was. Smoke Control means you can turn it on or off by remote. Hearing that response, I wasn't happy. I went to trainworld.com and reviewed the item stating that Smoke control was misleading and don't buy this set if you think you can control smoke output. What I can't believe is today 9/22/26 I get a call from Trainwold and I'm thinking what do they want. What they wanted was to tell me what the smoke control meant and I told them yeah, I know I contacted Lionel. He chuckled and so did I. He apologized for Lionel misrepresenting their product and wanted to know if I wanted to return it for a full refund. I said, NO I'm for the most part happy with it, and it does smoke more than my other sets, I just don't appreciate that Lionel lied about it. I give them Kudos for calling me and apologizing for Lionel's misrepresentation of their product. I will always shop here now and they do have pretty amazing prices and they ship quickly as well. I will be back Trainworld! Thanks for the call and all you do for the model train enthusiast.

I would avoid these people like the plague. I returned an item which I could not make work. When they got it they had one of their experts to make it work and thus I only get a 50% return. Unless you're an expert I would avoid these folks. My inability has cost me.

I've ordered several things now from Trainworld. Their selection is great, customer service has been nothing less than stellar and my items always show up well packed and in a timely fashion.
