TrainPetDog has been a wonderful support to "our" training. I adopted a 5 yr. old shelter American Staffordshire who has only the most basic training. So we are starting from almost scratch. "Bruce" is a complete sweetheart and only wants to please. But I realized "I" needed training since it has been 20 years since I had a dog. And I never had a dog this strong or stubborn (but sweet). TrainPetDog has been sending me daily updates and training tips that (hard to admit) I did not know. I always have had the best behaved dogs and training came easy. But not with Bruce. TrainPetDog sends breed specific training guides that not only work easily for both me and Bruce, but teach me so much I did not realize. Like grabbing the leash tight as we approach another dog on our walks. This sends him the signal to prepare to fight. NOT the message I thought I was sending. I thought I was pulling him toward me so I could control him better. TrainPetDog has sent the perfect training steps at just the right time. I believe TrainPetDog is all I need to train my Am Staff the basics.

I have gotten the first three emails, and the tip seem like they will work. I do not get my puppy until the 12 og March.

I can do this with my pet on my time and she responds well. It is nice to have someone to help me understand my pet.

I’ve practiced a few tips on my puppy and they seem to be working. I’ve had trouble crate training and him nipping. The tips have definitely helped.
