Tradersumo trading method is the most compelling and solid one I’ve come across in 4 years of experience in the financial markets. Unlike all the other trading approaches, it offers a very logic and repeatable way to look at the charts, simplifying the understanding of the price action and the identification of actionable trading setups. The core concepts are quite simple to understand but putting them all together and applying them successfully to trading requires a phase of intense study and practice, especially if you come from other very different approaches or if you are a novice at trading. Once the method is mastered, you will look at the markets in a completely different way, having an invaluable advantage over the vast majority of traders. The course is well developed but there is room to perfect it in some parts (for example: setting the course as a real journey from zero to proficient trader, introducing intermediate comprehension tests, adding live trading examples on trend progression and patterns, adding videos to explain more practical aspects) to facilitate students' understanding and their introduction to using the method in trading. The discord community included in the package is very useful for sharing your learning journey with other like minded students. Polytrends algo is an add on that greatly simplifies the analysis of the charts, once you have mastered the method. All in all i think you won't find a better trading method if you want to become a consistent and profitable trader.

I have been involved in trading in various capacities since 2007, and during that time have always been passionate about deepening my understanding and skill in the markets. I've studied and applied concepts spanning classical technical analysis, Elliott Wave, Wyckoff, order flow and more. I have always gravitated to and used some form of what is commonly referred to as "market structure" as the basis for analyzing trends, identifying patterns, support and resistance and ultimately framing risk in order to make trading decisions. As a result, Sumo's concepts were a natural progression for me (no pun intended) and added a new level of rigor, granularity and precision to how I approached my analysis, leading to greater accuracy, confidence and being able to routinely identify quality tradable opportunities that I had not perceived before. The most important thing to understand is that this is not a mechanical trading system, nor is it designed to provide you with mechanical buy and sell signals in order to outsource your decision making. Instead, it is a framework, providing a deep and highly logical understanding of how markets unfold on all timeframes to create, maintain and reverse "trend", as well as how to engage with those mechanics to make repeatable and consistent trading decisions. That said, this is a course for self-directed and motivated traders, and you will get out of it what you put in. Be prepared not only to engage with the material, but to spend plenty of screen time actively engaging with the charts. Even though the concepts are laid out in the course with examples and multiple passes will yield additional insights, it's really when you begin deeply engaging with the concepts yourself both in backtesting and in live markets that the real "aha" moments begin and you start to see things you cannot unsee. Finally, this is not a "Trading 101" course - although it does provide a brief overview of some foundational concepts, mainly to lay the foundation for certain aspects of trend progression or to compare and contrast it - you would be well served to have some prior trading knowledge and experience and should certainly understand the markets you are trading at a minimum.

The difference is night and day — his teachings remove so much noise and gives me real confidence in every trade. That kind of consistency and profitability is something I never thought I’d reach. I’ve taken multiple trading courses over the years, and TraderSumo stands out as the most dominant and structured approach I’ve experienced. Most courses I’ve taken focused heavily on indicators, pattern memorization, or signal-style trading. TraderSumo is different. The emphasis on trend and market progression creates a deeper understanding of how price actually moves — impulse, pullback, continuation, and structural shift. What separates it for me is the clarity around progression: Identify the dominant trend first Wait for confirmation rather than anticipate Understand when progression is strengthening vs. weakening Trade in alignment with structure instead of guessing That framework alone changed how I see the market. Instead of reacting emotionally or chasing setups, I now focus on where the market is within its progression cycle.

I bought this trading course from the so-called “mentor” and immediately regretted it. Right after I paid, he sent me an NDA to sign. I signed it like an idiot. Then he asked me to include a copy of my license (photo and all). A few weeks later I found out he had taken my picture from the license, posted it on his private Discord and X, and turned it into memes for laughs. This guy is a straight-up scammer. He tricks students into signing NDAs and handing over personal ID just so he can humiliate them later on his private Discord and X. Total invasion of privacy and zero respect for his clients. Warning to everyone: Do NOT buy this course and do NOT share any personal information with this “mentor.” Stay far away. You’ve been warned

If you're thinking about buying this course, read this review and think about it carefully. Here we go: 1. Course Quality There are two main courses that you'll receive when you purchase, the legacy course (we'll get to this in a bit) and the academy course, which is the latest. In terms of quality, how the curriculum is structured, the flow of the lessons and whatnot, it's one of the worst I've ever seen. For this price point you'd expect something of high quality but no. He can't put together coherent topics that just flow from one to the next. They are just all over the place. Now let's talk about his legacy course. His legacy course is really just a rip off from a blogspot back in the day called kewltech. From my understanding, he made a summary out of the blog and then sold it as a course when he still didn't even fully understand the concepts himself. So it's like the blind leading the blind. The way he explains everything just reeks of someone who has no clue what he's teaching, for example: giving wishy washy definition, surface level and circular explanation, cherry picking examples to fit his narrative, saying he'd explain something later and never did...etc. 2. Concepts I gave a 2 stars because while the quality of the course itself is subpar at best, there are still some concepts in there that are valuable. At least they give an objective framework to work with. He always preach that his method is mechanical and rule based which is only true to some extent, it is still a discretionary method. 3. Sumo as a mentor In term of his credibility to be a mentor, I have a mixed feeling because he seems to have shown that he can walk the talk. But it's only recently that he started showing broker statements. The only proof of credibility that he provides in the course is a screenshot of a forex PNL statement from 2015. That's it. As pointed out by one of the reviews, it seems like he doesn't care about your success at all. If you ask him any question he'd just tell you to go watch contents some more. Yes, go watch the poorly made contents with wishy washy explanation some more and maybe then you'll get it. He'll sometimes give you cryptic answer or mock your intelligence instead of just answering the question. He'd rather spend his time arguing with teenagers and trying to impress other grifters on X than making sure that his paying students are taken care of. 4. Sumo as a person He's full of himself. A narcissist who loves to project his own vices on other. He's someone with a superiority complex. If you decided to choose him as your mentor just know that this is who you're dealing with as a person. 5. Reformed grifter? He's a trader of 15+years, yet roughly 7 years ago he repackaged others work and made a course out of it. Was he a grifter then? In fact he has rebranded many times, something a grifter/scammer would do after they got caught. Maybe he has survived this long only because he's been selling courses and chatroom sub? You be the judge.

Trader Sumo's Academy is THE trading course. It's the only place I've found that gives you the knowledge and tools to be able to read a chart. You will be able to trade any market, any timeframe. It is INVALUABLE info for anyone who is interested in getting better at trading. You do not need anything else. I would've happily paid 3x the price. To paraphrase a quote, our greatest expense in life, is not having the right skills.
