I am happy the way they are negotiating…
I am happy the way they are negotiating my debts for me, the thing that i didn't like it was how they said your credit will take a hit for 4 month and them will improved. That is not true, I've being in the program for almost a year and my credit still sucks.

I have overall had a good experience…
I have overall had a good experience with Timberline. However, on one of my accounts that was for over $11,000, I was able to make a settlement for just over $1100 or 10%. I called Timberline, they make the payment then charged me over $2500 in fees for that settlement. I don't think that is right and the amount should be put back in my account. They also charge monthly fees when they make monthly payments to settle an account. In some the fees are as much as or more than the settlement amount.

The first person I talked to regarding…
The first person I talked to regarding my account didn't seem too sure on the process. He asked the manager and came back with the same answer that didnt seem right. I called back to get someone else and he confirmed what I thought to be true but my account

Timberline
Timberline was great from the first phone call. Mr. King was very professional and answered all my questions and concerns. I was able to see results immediately from enrollment to now, 5 months down the line. Although my credit score has taken a hit, the savings each month are helping me save for retirement. I took out a chunk of my 401k last year this time to try to knock down the principal but with the interest rates on the cards I had I ended up right back into the same situation due to some unexpected home repairs after the hurricane this last season. I recommend this company to anyone, the customer service is truly professional.

Overall, a positive experience
Have had a few bumps as far as communication, but overall, the customer service is great and I really feel like they have my back.
