This is the worst decision I ever made!! Did you know you can negotiate with the credit card companies yourself? I have been part of this program since March and only 1 credit card has been negotiated. Yet I have received offers to settle directly with the cc for less than 50%. The $2000 they took as settlement fee could have paid off 2 more cc that still have not been settled. I sent an email to Victor and a negotiator 3 weeks ago and no response. Two weeks ago they were going to send a letter of good faith. Never did. My car lease is up in Jan and can not get a vehicle because my credit rating is so low due to the non negotiating of my credit cards from Timberline. I will lose my jobs because I will no longer have a vehicle. I was sold something that is so different from what I am receiving. Worst decision I have made!!

Timberlane rep talked me into using the company. He acted concerned, kind and professional. He told me he would be with me all through the process. Well, just two months in, I emailed with a question. I received no response. Two weeks later, I emailed again with a new question. He finally responded that at this point I should call a number he provided. He did not even supply the name of any contact. Total bait and switch. Con game. So disappointing. Do not trust him!

I really wouldn't give them any stars. I was with them for a year and they really botched a settlement. Even though I contacted them repeatedly over 3 months to resolve their mistake. No response. When I told them I was leaving (at the end of 08/18), they sent an email that someone would call...still waiting for the call. If you want to be ripped off, not called back when promised (even by a Supervisor) then this is your company. Update - Timberline invited me to respond to why I gave them such a low score and yet 7 days later, they still haven't responded to my response. Again my low score of their customer service is justified. Beware if you sign with them.

We entered into the Debt Consolidation Program 5 months ago and to date Timberline has not contacted a single debtor- but HAS taken the monthly monies it requires (to date approx. 6-7K). On July 24th 2018, I even wrote the company on its contact and a personal email- to date 8/13/18,, no response. I'm currently in Afghanistan- and going on 6 months with no contact with the company or our Rep- Greg King. Below is my Correspondence- Greetings from Kabul Afghanistan. I'm writing in regards to the absolute inactivity of my family's' Debt Consolidation Program. Myself and my wife entered into contract with Timberline Financial over 4 months ago. Our Representative is Greg King. I need you to understand the seriousness that this program has placed my family's financial security in,,, it has been 4 months since inception- and not a single payment to any creditor has been made. Upon calling them they have indicated that NO ONE from TImberline Financial has contacted them - much less presented any form of POA to further negotiation of debt. Both my wife and myself have attempted to contact Greg King via phone or email,, with one exception where he stated he would email my wife he has made no successful attempts. I have paid into the program for the last 4 months (plus additional monies) - but to date have received no indications that Timberline is doing anything except taking my money and allowing me to go further into debt. As we were advised to NOT pay anything further until Timberline negotiated with all parties. I have tried calling your main number today approx. 9:30 to 10:00 am from here in Afghanistan,, as I was waiting longer than 30 minutes the call dropped repeatedly. I tried to call Greg Kings number 4 times this a.m.- all to no avail. May I ask for someone to either email me or - please directly call my wife - Laura Huddleston at XXXXXX. I can NEVER get an honest answer from the "customer service" reps when I call. I can never speak with the person who is supposed to be actually assigned to my accounts. This entire process has been very misleading and I have no idea what I'm paying for. My account is debited every month on a regular basis and my funds are just sitting collecting interest for the company I'm sure.

Horrible service and screws with your contract with no explanation as to why they can’t figure out how to draft the correct amount from your account. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TIMBERLINE FINANCIAL!!!

I would NEVER recommend this company. The first 2 accounts were handled fine, the third, they were supposed to renegotiate in February of 2018 and I have called twice in Feb, twice in March, and again in April of 2018 and still nothing. The so called negotiator, Anton Washington, is joke and does not do his job at all the best I can tell. I am again on the phone with customer service who will NOT let me talk to a manager of any type. This company will NEVER get a recommendation from me. RUN the other way from this company

I was assured that in 4 Years the debts would be paid at $x per month. The first two were fulfilled with the credit card companies actually offering a settlement amount. Then the next one was being “negotiated” by the person assigned to me. Meanwhile my credit score took a huge plunge because I followed their advice and stopped paying. My negotiator told me I should put more money into it and he could do more. I explained that the money designated was all I could afford otherwise I wouldn’t need them! It went to court and I now have a judgement against me and a lien in my house! I was told I didn’t need to attend court by them when in fact I should have. The second one is supposedly settled now and now I have a garnishment by the fourth company and when I spoke to them last week she said my guy would contact the attorneys and get back to me, but never did. When I asked about the third one it won’t be paid off until 2021 which is past the 4 year mark and was told when my plan is up I will have to pay the company direct. When I asked about the funds from the settled ones that should now be available it hadn’t been put towards the last one yet. I am totally unsatisfied with this company and in hindsight should have worked with the companies direcyltly. And to add insult to injury, the representative I talked to last week thought it was funny and laughed at my predicament! Do not use this company!!!! It is 6 days past their reply and I'm still waiting for that call! Never did get that call as of 2-1-18
