ThinOpticsReviews of thinoptics.com

Thin reading glasses are very practical but unfortunately thinoptics are very poor quality-they scratch and break in two at the nose bridge. I have purchased about a dozen of the foldable glasses over the last few years plus the stick on case for back of my iPhone. All the glasses fell apart very quickly and the last pair broke as soon as I took them out of the package. As well the stick on case cracked. When I last spoke to Thinoptics about my complaints they thanked me for my feedback and said they would improve the quality of their product. Unfortunately the quality has not changed at all. I think Miguel at customer service at Thinoptics should contact me and replace the glasses plus the case immediately, hopefully with an improved version

UPDATE - Still Waiting For Return and Refund. Haven't heard anything from THINOPTICS. Their Customer Service is very very THIN. *************************************************************** RETURNING the order is BIG Problem with ThinOptics. They have 30 days return policy so i started return process since the optics was too small for my face. I called, chatted and sent couple of email. After 15 days i am still waiting for the return label in my mail. Every time i create ticket they close as solve but i have not received label to return the item and get refunded. Worst Customer Service Here.

I will not be buying this product anymore, the glasses generally last 6-8 months before they break. This product only has a 6 month guarantee then you will be paying $19 for a new pair of glasses. NOT VALUE FOR MONEY.. When they first brought this product out they had a lifetime guarantee

"ThinOPTICS are the only reading glasses durable enough to be backed by a Lifetime Replacement Guarantee." This applied until Oct 12, 2020, after that they are not that durable to be given a Lifetime Replacement Guarantee. If you bought before that date you were given that Guarantee only for it to be taken away as of Oct 12, 2020. I bought the package deal of 2 pair of readers with the case in August of 2017 with the Lifetime Replacement Guarantee printed right there on the invoice. Recently when I found one of the pair had a broken nose piece, I sent an email to ThinOptics for my Replacement. I got a reply that, "Due to customer feedback, we have redesigned the glasses to be more durable than the previous one you have. With the changes on the quality, update on the warranty was made. As a gesture of appreciation from ThinOptics, let me share this coupon code: ccs_to_15 so that you can get 15% off on your next purchase." ThinOptics did send me one new pair of glasses. "We are happy to be able to provide the Replacement Request at no cost. For your reference, here is the Order #: SO1350481." Thank you ThinOptics for sending those but that's what Lifetime Replacement Guarantee means. Now according to the emails I received if I have a problem in the future I can use the coupon code they gave me so I can save 15%. Like that is going to happen. It is my opinion that purchases prior to Oct 12, 2020 should have been grandfathered in for the Lifetime Replacement. How can a company advertise a Free Lifetime Replacement Guarantee, still be in business, still offer the same products in question with no major changes, and then take away the Replacement Guarantee?

I only emailed them a basic query, and now they've automatically signed me up to newsletters!

i first purchased these readers back in 2016/17 as they were around £20 with a lifetime guarantee so i thought this is a no-brainer. now the lifetime guarantee has dramatically changed to 6 months. its funny how a company starts off then srews you.

very bad experience with them. i placed a total of three orders. first, they didn't offer any expedited shipping. they said they would ship them out very quickly but they did not. they did give me a partial refund, but now there is a delay in shipping and they won't bother to try to find out for me why. they also told me i would have to pay to return the items and get the rest of my money back. terrible service.

Unprofessional!!!! Charged my visa and after few days inform me that they can’t deliver because Covid shipping problems… My friend told me that he had similar problem, so be careful to buy something from this shop. Absolutely not recommended!
