Unfortunately the Milano case is not up to the standards that I have come to expect from the ThinOptics line of products. I have ordered two now and both within a few months of use have broke at the hinge under moderate use. The hinge mechanism is obviously very cheaply made. Also the fact that you cannot wirelessly charge your phone when the case is attached to your phone is also a big design flaw. I presume it is the magnet and the metal combined that just are too much for the charge to make it through on a wireless charger (on my iphone x anyway)). I do love their product range in general but unfortunately this case has been a big fail for me.

Bought the Manhattan glasses. Love the form and thinness, however, the hinge screw fell out on one side and in order to get a replacement they want $20... this after paying $50 for them in the first place. They are convenient but certainly NOT worth that!

Like so many others - great concept product, but the nose holders are made of cardboard/fibrous material which just does not last. The holders are damaging the specs and i have had many pairs break in the very same way. The replacement policy has changed (I was a customer before they introduced a processing fee/shipping or the 1 at a time replacement - 2017 and this made it a very desirable product). We are two in the family and we have 2 pairs each with now 3 pairs broken again. I am not in the US and the exchange rate for dollars is 113:$1. Wishing for a permanent solution from ThinOptics!!

Purchased Thin Optics directly from the company after seeing the commercials. I purchased for use at work and personal use and acquired online directly from company to assure that I would get the lifetime warranty replacement. I bought two pair, one with hard holder which can be mounted to phone ($19.95), legal binder, etc., and the other set with the key ring holder ($24.95) for travel carry (Total $44.90). I loved the convenience and simplicity of the glasses and used them during business meetings or while out eating meals to read menus. However, The quality of the glasses is very poor from limited use. I have had nose pieces on both sets fail and break off, and one set that was used in the key ring holder break in half at the bridge. With that said, I went to the website to start a warranty claim. The warranty site for Thin Optics would only allow me to replace 1 pair at a time with a $.01 cost and a $4.99 processing fee totaling $5.00. It would not allow me to replace my second pair without paying an additional set of fees. Total cost to consumer to replace two pair of their lifetime warranty glasses is $10.00 and two separate shipments. My Initial shipment because it was over $40.00 had free shipping. Now, I have to pay to receive replacement glasses due to poor quality of construction if I wish to replace them. (I do not recommend purchasing Thin Optics) very disappointed!!

I purchased my thinoptics from Amazon Prime. In my opinion the nosepiece is defective. The inside of the pad that touches my nose is very rough. If I run my finger on the pad, it feels like sandpaper the edges of the nose clip are sharp at the point. I returned them to Amazon for a replacement. The second pair is the same as the first. Very abrasive on my nose. I called thinoptics and explained my issue to Kevin. He told me Amazon is selling an older version of the glasses. WOW !!!’I plan on sharing this with an Amazon represeative. The plus side to this is that I can see perfectly thru the lenses.

The glasses would be great if not for two flaws forcing continuous replacement. 1.) The nose pads on the glasses break ALL THE TIME. I have had 9 pairs over 1 1/2 years and the nose pads are broken off on ALL of them. The other reviews do not lie about this. 2.) I have the cell phone holder pod and it is flawed. I have a belt clip and protective case and the pod adheres fine to the case, but the glasses will fly out of the holder on MANY occasions. There is no locking mechanism whatsoever, only the tension of the glasses. Any bump into a person or thing will send them flying, many times without notice resulting in lost pairs. For something that has lifetime guarantee with OBVIOUS design flaws I resent having to pay $5 for each replacement and only 1 at a time. I originally bought 4 pairs and now have had to continually buy replacements since. I do not recommend these products at this time.

This is the second pair that nose pads have broken. I really like the glasses but not going to pay $5.00 for replacement. might try again when they figure out nose pad problem and fix it!

I ordered a set a year ago and liked them. So I ordered a couple more for Christmas gifts, it took ThinOptics SIX WEEKS to fulfill my order! The lesson is you never want to go through ThinOptics and only order these through Amazon where it was just ONE DAY to get my order, with free shipping, using the Amazon Prime program.
