I bought these glasses years ago at Bed…
I bought these glasses years ago at Bed bath and beyond. They guaranteed free replacement and shipping for life with my purchase. That was how it worked for the first couple pairs. NOW THEY ARE CHARGING for shipping! Don't buy... they scratch and the nose piece breaks off easily... if you have to pay 5 bucks every time over your lifetime it is so not worth the trouble! Never mind getting communication with this company is so frustrating! Save your money... go to a dollar store!!!!

What customer service?!?! It’s fictional!
Pllaced order on the 9/8.. asking for update on shipment.. nothing! Tried calling them during their business hour and “no customer service rep available” is the message! Guesa ahould have checked review! Will asked credit card company to dispute charges since they seems to be “out of businesss” Update: just received shipping notification. Still no customer support respond! Wel’l see how is the product.

Great concept - Poor company
Indestructible - they broke on the nose bride - another pair scratched by inserting into the case provide......trying to make contact and get someone to speak with you - almost impossible - YOU DECIDE

0 stars! Horrible service. Took money, but delivered no product.
If the option ever existed to give a company "0 stars", ThinOptics is the perfect candidate. It has been a month since I placed my order. Like others have mentioned, the company quickly charged my credit card, but half-a-dozen emails and apologies later, still no glasses/phone case combo. Bottom Line: Don't waste your time and money with these people.

Extremely poor customer service
I bought a pair of the Manhattan readers online on Aug 20. To date I have not received the optics or any communication despite sending emails via their online message service. I thought I had been ripped off but after reading all the complaints it seems that ThinOptics just offer shocking customer service. This is the first time I've posted a bad review of a retailer which just demonstrates how poor this is and a vague hope that someone at ThinOptics may take notice.

Bad design, poor service
My first pair was a gift. I really liked them but the flimsy nose piece broke. It was replaced. The process repeated three more times. I'm not hard on glasses but that thin piece of plastic on the nose piece bends and breaks like a thin piece of plastic. After contacting the company TWO weeks later I received an email -- as a courtesy they would see me a new pair but if that pair crapped out they'd have to charge me S&H for any future replacements. They have big brass ones to crank out a product that can't cost more than 50 cents to manufacture, that has a faulty component destined to fail and take such a poor customer service stance. I declined their courtesy and put the t.o. that broke -- the fourth pair -- in the recycling bin.

Great concept for a company
Great concept for a company. Like other users have stated the 2nd main reason I bought ThinOptics was for the warranty. Its a great idea , glasses always with you. However, if they lasted more than a year with normal use ( not abuse) I would be shocked. I'm on my 2nd pair in 1.3 years, and now they want 5.00 to send them to me. Seems like padding profits on shipping cost. Oh well, just thought though one of their big selling points was FREE replacements.
