The rubber protective phone case I ordered is defective, it has scratched 2 pair of glasses. I persevered with it for 6 months and damaged two pair of glasses before concluding that it was not my method of using the product but the product itself. I have been dismissed with the cry ‘it’s out of warranty ‘. What these scam merchants won’t acknowledge is that I didn’t damage the product, the product was sold to me in a condition not fit for purpose. Don’t deal with them!!

Glasses are usefull although they have a lifetime and intend to break after couple months. I have 10 of them. In my last order the shopping basket ailutomatically added my previous 2 orders also into the current one. Order was not shipped for 10 days. It sait “processing” in their website. When i tried to cancel it. Suddenly turned into “shipped” with a tracking number provided which showing 2 more days saying not picked up from the warehouse. 2 days later i received an email from NICO in thinoptics saying that goods were shipped i can return it back. I need to pay the shipment and refunds will be processed 4-6 weeks. I received an email with new improved glaases for 9 dollars each + free shipping for loyal customers. I have ordered 3 pairs of 9 dollars incl shipping as states new improved glasses. I ended up paying 126 dollars receiving second time for my ex orders of last year. This is a scam. Glasses are usefull but NEVER buy direct from Thinoptics. Buy from Amazon. Regards Selim Hamamcioglu

Forget about ordering replacements. You'll never know if your order goes through or not. Forget about customer service, there's no way to contact them as you never know if your question goes through or not. This place is just horrible. I've been a long time customer and have never been satisfied.

I own 4 pairs of the original Thin Optics and ordered the Brooklyn from the new Front Page models. Upon receiving them I immediately noticed that the right eye prescription was off. I compared them with the original models and sure enough the new glasses were bad. I contacted customer service regarding the issue and was told that I could return the glasses within 30 days. The catch was I would have to pay for the return shipping and have to wait 4 to 6 weeks for a refund!!!!!!!!! 4 to 6 weeks and pay the return shipping for glasses that have a manufacturers defect!!! This is completely unnacceptable! I have emailed them back and am waiting for a response. This should be a no brainer! If a company ships you a defective product they need to provide a prepaid return shipping label and immediatley refund your money, not make you the consumer pay the shipping and make you wait a month and a half for your refund!!! If this is not taken care of and made right I'll contact the BBB and file a complaint! Richard Maroon

The glasses are good for a couple of weeks then they start to fall apart. The lifetime replacement warranty is a scam. They will charge you a $7 postage fee and a $13 handling fee to send your replacement.

Haven't got the product, disappointed in the service. I ordered this on 18 Dec on behalf of someone. I only realised two weeks later that I did not receive any shipping confirmation at all. I contacted the helpdesk on 30th Dec for the shipping confirmation and got an automatic reply saying that they will reopen on 2nd Jan 2019. It is 5th Jan today, still no reply. The least I deserved is an update on what the delivery situation is since I already paid for the product.

Ordered my thin glasses and got my payment information but nothing has been shipped yet. I wrote multiple emails but got no answer.

Not very good, nose clip broke after 6 months, logged into their website to get a free lifetime replacement as advertised at the point I purchased them from an authorised seller in Bristol (Bailey) and the small admin fee is $10. Only appear to be $15 new, so hardly a free lifetime replacement is it? Won't be buying again or recommending them.
