Flimsy for a lot of money.
Bought them at Zoom Market in Dubai (JLT). First set nose piece was already missing. Was not a problem and got new set. Which I opened in the shop just to make sure. The nose piece was on until I tried to remove the protective foil. Just by holding the glasses between thumb and index finger it fell off. What a flimsy product for that kind of money. I have thrown them away right there and then. What a waste of money and recourses.

We would have hope you have kept the glasses so we can look into it. Should you need our assistance, please send us an email at [email protected]. - Miguel, ThinOptics Social

Poor service
Product is fantastic. Customer service is terrible. The order took ten days to arrive. Once I received the glasses I realized the case I ordered stuck to the back of my phone. Not a big deal but not what the photo indicated online. I reached out to customer service to find out what case I should have ordered, something that would just slip in my purse. No response. Unfortunately the extensive lag time in receiving my order along with the terrible customer service will prohibit me from buying these glasses in the future - which is unfortunate because I like the glasses. Efficiency and good service make a business....... the two areas this company is lacking in.

BEWARE - Not a free lifetime replacement warranty - Extremely POOR customer service
I bought several pairs and have endorsed and recommended this product hundreds of times. I've really backed this company because I like the convenience of the product. However, there were red flags from the beginning. Just trying to register the products was a nightmare, 3 voice mails un-responded to over a month period in September of last year, several emails and their broken website that would not allow registration. But, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and moved on. Recently the nose piece broke. No problem, I have a lifetime warranty, right? Well, if you don’t mind paying ridiculous "processing fees" and enduring more poor customer service, sure,…..read on....
The flimsy, easily broken nose piece is a known problem at the thinoptics company. To correct it, they’ve supposedly made them more durable. I sent an email to customer service to get mine replaced. I received no response for over a week. Sound familiar, yes, same as last time. So, once again having to track them down, I went to their website and chatted with a Customer Service Rep. He (Ian) told me to go to a link, fill out a form and pay a "processing fee". What? I bought your product with a "lifetime free replacement guarantee" for $10 per pair at a well-known American consumer electronics retailer, I registered them (painfully) and now when they break for *a known reason*, you require me to pay a "processing fee" that is 50% of the purchase price? That is ridiculous. Unethical. Immoral. Unprofessional. Ian said "the fee covers the cost that we incur to process, prepare the order for shipment, shipping materials, tracking service, and the postage." Those fees are not my problem, they are the company's responsibility when their product fails **for a known reason**, not a result of neglect or abuse. Why should I have to pay your administrative costs when your product fails?
When Ian refused to help (repeatedly), I asked for the name and contact information for the person in charge of Customer Care at thinoptics. I saved the chat because his responses were so unhelpful and inappropriate. In typical poor customer service style he repeat numerous times "information is in our policy", "you just need to cover the shipping/processing fee", "what you are asking is not possible", "we won't change our warranty policy" (said this one twice). And when I said I was simply asking for who I can talk to about this, he refused and said "I think I provided you all the information you need."
I definitely would not buy products from this company and would not endorse this company due to their exceptionally poor customer service, lack of willingness to allow customers to contact someone if there is a problem beyond the basic, and due to their unethical policy of charging arbitrary "processing fees" for “free lifetime replacements” when their products break. I’ll leave you with this thought, is it really a *free lifetime replacement warranty* when they charge you to replace it,…..and when they decide to increase their arbitrary "replacement processing fee" to $10, $15 or $20, the same or more than the original product cost, is it really a free replacement warranty?

Great product, poor service.
I bought a pair of the glasses at the DFW airport. Loved them immediately. During the first week the nosepiece broke. I made a warranty claim. Got an email confirmation that they had shipped. When I tracked them I found they had never been delivered to the mailing service. After several email exchanges with customer service I thought I had it fixed. During the interim I also ordered a second pair because I like them so much. It’s now going on a month and I still have not received either pair of glasses or an explanation why.

I bought a pair of reading glasses that fold into a key fob and the nose pieces broke. Lifetime guarantee, what a joke. I contacted the company, received a response to send a picture, sent the picture of the glasses with broken nose pieces and never heard back. What a disappointment!! Guess there is no such thing as a warranty or replacement. Won’t be ordering any further products and will tell all my friends.

Poor quality
Poor quality, nose pads always break and replacement glasses are $5. Its been this way for years, you'd think an attempt would be made to improve.

Not Durable
I have purchased over a dozen pair of these glasses over several years and love them for their convenience.
However, every pair I have used have broken at the nose-pad within two months. There is a design fault and they are simply not durable enough and especially for the price.
I resent having to pay $5 for shipping each time a pair breaks and can only claim one replacement at a time.
I haven had any negative issues with Customer Service, other than the last replacement (2 pairs) did not arrive before we set off again.
