Warranty changed from Lifetime to 6 months. Glasses dont stay in case and it seems they are aware or the problem. Not a good product due to bad customer service and manufacturing issues.

I have had 4 pairs of their readers and have the pod to store them attached to my phone. The reason I have had 4 pairs is because the storage pod scratches the lenses after about 5-6 months. The frames have lasted for me but I have brought up the issue with thinoptics and they are deaf to this. Just need to have a scratch-resistant coating inside the case. Now the new warranty limitation. I am just sick of these issues and thinoptics.

Warranty kept changing. first lifetime, then will cost $5 fee, now 6 months??? The nose clips are an issue. Someone recommended Nooz. Im checking it out. Better warranty too.

Both my wife and I have had a pair of Thin Optics glasses since they came out. The original idea was good, and the only reason I bought the pairs for us was the lifetime warranty. "Lifetime Replacement Guarantee ThinOPTICS are the only reading glasses durable enough to be backed by a Lifetime Replacement Guarantee. Should you have any issue with your ThinOPTICS please visit (their website) to process your replacement order and we'll dispatch it direct to you, just like this one." As these glasses are not metal, they broke from every-day use after about 5 months. I used the (then) lifetime warranty and got us both replacements. About a year later, they both broke again. This time they wanted what I thought excessive shipping charges to get a "free" replacement set, so I waited, and apparently too long. They have now have changed their warranty, claiming due to "COVID" they can only offer a 6 month warranty. Personally, this makes their product no longer worth the price.

ThinOptics refuses to Honor Lifetime Guarantee that was in effect when I purchased 2 pairs of their glasses in 2016. I would give them zero stars if you had that option.

Appalling customer service! I recieved my glasses bu post, and was absolutely delighted. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong strength (2.25 instead of 1.75). Totally my own fault so I contacted support. Didn't want or expect a refund, just an exchange. The young lady (Rhea) was very helpful, advised me to fill out the information required and then they would send me an exchange form. I have now sent 5 x emails to 3 x different email addresses, including support and the original email address, complete with the requested information plus photograph, and have had absolutely no response from the company. I can only assume they are waiting for the 30 day exchange rule to kick in. Meanwhile I have to just wait until my eyes deteriorate to a point where they will be useful. Hugely disappointed !!!!

I have been a customer for several years and bought them with the intention of using them often. I have been trying to replace them since the bridge broke again. I can not find the website where I can order my replacement . I realize there is a $5 shipping charge. Can someone reach out to me so I can get them replaced . This is so frustrating .

I don't understand how you can just change your warranty policy, I also originally purchased these with a lifetime warranty but was told they are not longer doing that. The phone case i use ALWAYS scratches the lenses eventually. In the past it was dirt and debris getting in there but i recently bought a new case for the phone and it's so tight when i slip the glasses in there it comes in contact with the lens and scratches them, no debris involved. This was tolerable knowing I would just eventually order a new pair once they were so scratched i could no longer see through them but now what?
