Great First Impression, Then Problems Arose
My father hired Ahmed and his team through a broker called SafeShip, who I also would never recommend. Ahmed and his team did great during the pick up. Unfortunately, multiple boxes and items seem to have been left in storage and never got delivered. Also, most of the furniture that was delivered has damage. Some pieces, including a brand new recliner and solid wood nightstand, were completely destroyed because they were improperly lifted and moved. Their "insurance" is a total scam. Our contract says that coverage is to be selected at the time of pick up, and my wife who was present for pick up was instructed to select full coverage because we have many antiques and high end furniture that would cost thousands to replace. The pickup team would not allow her to select the full coverage, and they forced her to sign the paperwork. She is not named anywhere in the contract and did not have any authority to sign. And we specifically told her not to sign anything, but she was told she had to. I've made several attempts to call, text, and email them to resolve these issues. My demands are that they release the name, location, and contact information for the storage warehouse so that I can track down my items since they aren't concerned with doing that. I have given them plenty of chances to own up and fix the problems, but they continue to ghost us so I'm leaving this review as a warning for anyone else who may be considering their services.
