Earlier today, I found several posts that didn't sound right to me. I used to live in the Smokies and know that some of the old folks like to "tell stories" (pull your leg as they say), but some of these were not cute or innocent little tales. There are plenty of tall tales about the Smokies, and many are really true. I checked on these stories posted on the facebook Page "TheSmokies.com" and they were not true. Please be careful before reposting.

As someone who has been to the area quite a lot, this site still offers new information and tips. They stay on top of local events. They also shoot you straight. They give you the good, bad, and ugly. I appreciate the honesty and a true review.

Very intimate information, very authentic breakdowns. You can tell the people producing the information really care about what they’re writing and putting out there. I come here first and confirm with other websites second because I know I’m getting the real deal with smokies

I enjoy the articles and photos on theSmokies.com. Great resource for learning about the history and current attractions in the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area of Eastern Tennessee and the Smoky Mountain National Park.

I find this site helpful and informative about the Smokies. I visit every couple years and this has made my vacations much more enjoyable.
