The Salary NegotiatorReviews of thesalarynegotiator.com

Brandon was incredible to work with -- I've already recommended him to several friends and will be coming back myself to use his 1-1 coaching service for my next job hunt! He's incredibly responsive via email and guided me step-by-step over phone and email to make sure I was prepared during the incredibly stressful process of negotiation. I felt like I always had someone at my side ready to help and it was so helpful having that when negotiating with companies. The results speak for themselves, he was able to get me close to an 8% increase in Year 1 comp and helped me on 2 negotiations. Thanks again Brandon, you were awesome!

Brandon was awesome. Highly recommend using him to help negotiate. He was great with coaching and preparing me as well as assisting with communications throughout my hiring process. His professional expertise was paramount in helping me secure a higher signing offer!

Working with Brandon was an exceptional experience. His negotiation tactics are notably unique and highly effective, differing significantly from those I had encountered previously. His support was instrumental in securing a better salary. Brandon consistently made himself available for assistance, whether through calls or emails. I extend my deepest gratitude to Brandon for his invaluable help.

Brandon is an expert salary negotiation coach. He not only helped me get a huge improvement in my paycheck but also took the stress out of the entire process. He guided me at every step of the way and had strategies prepared for various possible outcomes. I felt like I was always a step ahead and had drafts and scripts ready for any conversation the recuiters could open up. I used Brandon's services for 2 job offers and he offered impeccable service in both cases. His strategy is sound and data-based without being disrespectful or aggressive. He started me off with a training program followed by multiple calls to discuss strategy, email drafts for every situation, phone scripts to use in my conversations with the recruiters and most importantly the market research and number-crunching to go with all this. During the process, I felt confident that I will land a fair offer because I had a seasoned negotiator on my side. Best part is, Brandon charges his fee based on offer improvement. So it's win-win. This was a pleasant difference from many online services that charge you a flat fee regardless of their success and quality of service. Along with the service, Bradon offers lifetime acess to his video training. The training is self-paced and easy to follow. It introduced me to various concepts and made me rethink others that I thought I knew. If you opt for his one-on-one coaching, he is very responsive to emails and always provided prompt, timely support. I have already referred Brandon to my friends and family among which one is using his services as we speak. From all this experience, I can wholeheartedly recommend his services to anyone who is navigating the stressful and tricky process of salary negotiation.

Setting an appointment with Brandon was easy. He advised taking his course first and then determining if I wanted to engage directly with him for help. I chose the option to work directly with him. He has a lot of great experience and is very helpful through the process. I would recommend engaging with him before even the first phone screen if possible so you don’t make some of the common mistakes too early.

After working with Brandon, I received an offer that ended above the high end of my expectations. He thoroughly explained his philosophy and thought process for negotiations, which helped me enter each conversation with full confidence. It was a pleasure to work with him and strongly recommend his coaching service.

Great service! Brandon helped every step of the way in negotiating a much better offer than I would have been able to get on my own. Highly recommend.

I worked with Brandon to negotiate my offer in 2024, when the market conditions weren't great. In the past, I've negotiated my salary by myself based on public salary sites. After joining the job, I've often learned that the salary could have been higher. Brandon has a tried-and-tested set of steps that allow the negotiation to be successful because a) you work collaboratively with the recruiting / compensation team, b) treat it like a negotiation rather than haggling, and c) you don't negotiate with yourself to reduce your value in the market. Brandon is reliable, available, and calm through the process. During crunch time, he gives the pros and cons of each approach. Working with him has achieved an ROI that's much bigger than his fee, and I'm glad it's a win-win.
