Great experience with The Pelvic Connection, NYC!
Dr. Mukta Chauhan, PT, DPT, OCS, WCS is a physical therapist specializing in, among other things, pelvic issues. I have had a problem with tightness in the pelvic floor plus hyposensitivity in other areas, which have prevented me from having certain normal functions. Mukta's broad knowledge, skill and insight are impressive. She works not just with the local physical issue, but also with the whole person. I've been seeing Mukta weekly for six months now, and have also been faithfully doing the exercises she has given me. Due to her knowledge and skill during the sessions, plus my own willingness to stick to the program between sessions, I have made tremendous progress, much more so than expected. In addition to her knowledge and skill, I find her to be honest, ethical and fair and have deep-level trust in her. Plus she is a wonderful and empathic person who makes me feel welcome and understood on all levels. My issues have had a devastating effect on my life. However I have great confidence in Mukta and plan on continuing to work with her until I see full resolution of these problems. I will be updating this review as I go along.
