This company has terrible customer service over 1 day of waiting time. The actual service for a product is terrible the server non-stop crashes and refuses to refund no matter what. Would never recommend.

As i read these 'experiences' i am inclined to think they are false. There might be a rare cookie that found something worthy of this service but in my honest opinion this service is not worth the admittedly small amount that is *ADVERTISED*, In my experience with this service, you have to pay extra for options that frankly should of been given to you off at the start, it is said that you have to wait 72 hours...But the refund policy is at most 24 hrs? I spent around 40 dollars USD (was bumped up to almost 50 for being Australian) to get this. A dedicated ip that was 10 dollars (one time payment) a mobile app that was again 10 dollars (one time payment), and finally a 2.50 dollar monthly fee for an additional 2gb/s server speed (which makes up an entire 10gb/s *advertised* The actual server was 14 dollars, Now i got this on a 60% off discount for 16 gb of ram. I was in need of this amount of ram for my server, i was in a pickle and needed a cheap server to host until i got a better service for at least a few months, i wasn't expecting much for so little, but the actual server i got? was disgusting to say the least. I had to send a ticket for my dedicated ip which should of been given to me without me asking, i waited 72 hours before sending a ticket; thinking that "Oh maybe it hasn't been processed yet" I waited another 3 days before my server randomly within the night being shut down and moved over, before this i had no confirmation that my ticket had even been seen, only that it had been processed. The ticket was labeled 'severe', i was polite, i was professional, and i got nothing. That is just the tip of the iceberg so to speak. The entire outlook is constricting, disgusting and confusing. It is extremely hard to even find the help tickets, there is no information, it is all over the place and a lot of the functions in 'normal' server providers are not there at all. The server is NOT as advertised!! In the actual server the tps jumped from 16-19 only about 4 gb out of 16 gb was usable, don't get me wrong, it worked, but it is not worth your money. The gameplay was so laggy, i highly doubt i received majority of the advertised functions that are needed in a server. The service i received was the poorest i have *EVER* seen, and I've been involved in minecraft for 7 years now. I assure you that if you buy from this server, you will be ripped off. It works. But it is the worst experience ever.

My son wanted his own Minecraft server. So I shopped around. I went with theminecrafthosting.com due to being able to get quite a bit for $5/month to start. 1) There are no FAQs, no knowledge bases, no tutorials to help you with issues 2) They "say they answer helpdesk support questions within 30 minutes, up to 24 hours." 4 days later, I get a reply but not the answer to the simple question. Within 10 hours I had requested a full refund and cancellation as its within their policy. They still have not replied to that. So I opened a Paypal claim (they haven't responded to it either!) 3) There is NO way to contact them, outside of the Helpdesk tickets that they don't answer. 4) The server was down the entire time. Possibly an easy fix, but there was no way to find out as no one communicated with us and no way to find information to fix it ourselves. We went with a different company and were up and running within 30 minutes. It's definitely worth going somewhere else.

This has been said before unfortunately, but I'll say it again just to raise awareness. I was stupid enough not to look into them deep enough to just deduce from basic reasoning that this is a scummy and awful hosting provider. This was mostly due to me being on a deadline to get dedicated hosting as quick as possible. To start out, it is extremely evident the amount of bad reviews this hosting "company" provides. They will steal your money and give you bad service/no server at all. People have stated this on many forums and many posts before, and they all seem to say the same thing. They're unprofessional. They're condescending. They are rude. Their support is nonexistent. It's laughable, and unfortunately, it's true. I started with them because I was running very close to a deadline on getting server for my very large community, we hyped a project and we were getting close to release and I still didn't have a dedicated provider. So I fell into their trap of offering ridiculously cheap prices (50% off forever) and of course it's too good to be true obviously. It started out by me setting everything up on their control panel and it turns out that their control panel is mostly unresponsive. Their machines are unresponsive. I can't send/unpack my server files through their FTP access-point. It's fine, I'll open a support ticket, a day passes and I receive no response. Wasn't even the holidays. Now, on the front page of their website they have at the bottom right corner a livechat ticket area, now most companies use this, I figured since they didn't get back to me in the other ticket area, this could work. I open a ticket in the livechat and it emails me with the process has been created. I was waiting for 3 days and no response. At this point I asked for a fruitless refund because of course their ToS states a 24-hour refund period, and they don't even respond, so they can't really lose. I take it to paypal to be disputed, and the "owner" of the company I presume messages me back and forth in condescending manner (I wish paypal didn't delete these comments after I ascended the dispute to a claim) and tells me that I shouldn't have used the livechat "FEATURE" on their website because they don't use livechat tickets. They don't even respond to them. I call him out on why even put it on your website in the first place then if you don't even use it and he changes the subject. They don't really care at all. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that their "18" staff members are actually just one very angry 16 year old European who's upset with the world. In the end, they are scummy and most likely just one or two people running their "gig". They will take your money, not respond to anything, and have a broken and unresponsive setup.

I had a problem with the server hosting and I tried to contact the technical support but they did not respond.

So this is my honest opinion of the Server provider theminecrafthosting.com. First of let me just say, My experience with this company has been Absolutely Awful. I purchased a server with a 50% off coupon for a total of $11, It was a 10GB ram server. Not bad, Right? Think again, As soon as the server was started up i noticed the following error when trying to join my lovely new server- "This sever is running an outdated version, 1.11.2" I really needed the server up right away without having to Manually upload and fix a server i just paid for. So i went off and purchased a server from another provider and left a ticket asking kindly for a refund, as i wasn't in the mood to fix their mistakes. All i have gotten from the "Customer Support" Are very rude, condescending, Disrespectful responses. Needless to say, do not deal with this company, you WILL regret it. And that's a promise.

Terrible host, using terrible hardware. They lure people in with cheap ram, but I couldn't run my server with 8 gigs of RAM for 10 people. Not to mention the dedicated IP I purchased took 3 days to arrive. There is a reason why they are so cheap, its because there servers are borderline potatos. DO NOT PURCHASE HOSTING FROM THEM.
