After extensive searching and research, we decided on The Luxury Pergola, primarily because they offer customization of both height and size (up to 12×24), which was essential for matching our window height and maximizing our lake view. We were also impressed by The Luxury Pergola’s strong wind resistance and snow load specifications, and the fact that everything is made in the USA. When we contacted the company, we spoke with their Design Consultant, Mark H., who was wonderful—knowledgeable, patient, and highly responsive. He answered all of our questions, guided us through the ordering process, and emailed us a detailed parts list for review and approval, incorporating the changes we requested. We placed our order on 11/13, and it was delivered on 12/9, which is impressively fast for a customized pergola. We plan to install it over the next few months, as it’s winter here in Michigan. When the snow arrives, progress tends to slow—especially on a windy lakeside 😊. We will update our review once the installation is complete.

I purchased a Super Pergola from here, and it has been great so far! We have had it for almost a year, and we are entering the winter months, so time will tell for the durability. The product itself is great, and is allowing the family, friends & neighbors to enjoy my patio space in all different types of weather. The only negative is that it was rather large, and you will need a team to help install it, a little more than a DIY. The shipping was fast and make sure you have a large area to store it. Another hiccup is I have a slight leak of water in the gutter system in the middle of super pergola, where the two beams meet the center posts. The sales experience was unique as you are spending a large dollar value over the internet, yet it was legit. The Sales Rep Chase Bess was awesome. He walked us thru the process, helped with the permitting process and answered the last-minute frantic installation calls. He is still helping us determine a path to correct the middle leak and helping with other creative solutions to add lights and screens. Chase has friendly and low-pressure sales tactics that has developed a strong rapport that would make me recommend this company to others who are interested in a Pergola.

I recently had a Luxury pergola installed and I could not be happier. The structure feels very sturdy, the finish looks amazing, and the louvers work perfectly, smooth, quiet, and very functional. It has completely transformed the space. Overall I am extremely satisfied and highly recommend it.

I worked with Mark H on the specification of our pergola - it was so easy and he was so patient and helpful. We opted for all the bells and whistles since we will be spending many hours under our pergola making great memories with our family and friends. But during the buying process, I am the type of person that needs to 100% understand each line item on the proposal and Mark was so knowledgeble and helpful in explaining everything. Then in the end we realized we needed a custom size - still not a problem at all. The customer service has been great. Our pergola will be set up in the spring. I'll write a second review on how that goes once it happens. So far I am very happy we selected The Luxury Pergola.

The reason I purchased from Luxury Pergola was the fact that their product is heavy duty well designed and well made. It was easy to assemble, just needed help lifting the parameter beams in place. The instructions and assembly videos were easy to understand and follow.
