⭐ 0-Star Review I had a very disappointing experience with Best Houston Movers. I personally witnessed workers complete long, demanding jobs and then have issues getting paid. In one case, two workers were denied payment after finishing the work because one employee told the customer that workers were being paid by the hour. Regardless of the reason, the work had already been completed and the employees deserved to be paid for their time and labor. On one job, we started at 8:00 AM and worked until 4:00 PM. The next day, we started again at 8:00 AM and didn’t finish until 11:00 PM. These were extremely long days involving hard physical work, yet there were still disputes over payment afterward. Watching people put in that many hours and then struggle to get paid was frustrating and concerning. This experience raised serious questions for me about the company’s professionalism and how workers are treated. Moving is difficult work that requires trust, effort, and responsibility. Employees who show up, do the work, and complete the job should be compensated fairly and on time. I would encourage anyone considering this company to do their research, ask questions, and make sure they understand exactly how the company operates. Based on what I personally witnessed, I cannot recommend Best Houston Movers and would choose a different moving company.

I’d like to preface this review by saying, The owner of this business was my neighbor for the last 3 years- so if he is willing to treat us this way— good luck. We moved .5 miles away. I packed my entire house and met with Beau (the owner/my neighbor ) prior and shared with him that the main reason we needed movers was to help with 2 important pieces of furniture— (1) my very expensive and complicated desk and (2) my kid’s bunk beds. I put both together and knew they were tedious and time consuming. I needed help because I work full time and am currently very sick with lupus, and struggled to even pack boxes. He was reassuring “yes of course, we can do that- no worries”. The desk needed to be put together immediately because I have a 5 monitor complex working system for my job. Moving day comes, the workers were amazing. I have nothing but good things to say about the 3rd party employees. We bought them pizza, took care of them, tipped them. At the end of the day I get a call. They broke the desk. I was very upset knowing I’d need it for work the next day, knowing this was 1 of 2 things we hired movers for- but I was like, Oh Beau will make it right. Wrong. First thing he said on the phone “well I can’t replace it”. His employees were IRATE. Saying he does this often. Keep in mind this is my neighbor, I know he has the means to replace it. The desk was not even functional. He took no responsibility and didn’t even apologize. He offered me secondhand very small desks that would not work for me, and would not replace the $3000 desk. After the movers left, I realized that they put together my children’s bunkbed, completely incorrect. I had to take the entire thing apart and put it back together. It wasn’t safe. They used the wrong size screws in incorrect places in the entire thing could’ve collapsed. So… the two things I hired movers for, they (1) broke and (2) assembled incorrectly. As I walked around the house, I noticed they broke a lot of things. My son‘s play kitchen from Santa had a hole in it, and was crushed. Multiple fragile boxes were stacked, crushing and shattering things that were wrapped safely. Keep in mind, we moved from Michigan to Texas 3 years ago. We had more things break in this .5 mile move, than we did across the country. Again, the most upsetting part of all of this was how Beau handled it. He was completely unprofessional and not accountable. We had to keep texting, keep reaching out, keep telling him to fix the desk. After three weeks of not being able to use my workstation, he finally sent 2 people to assemble the desk with the new piece. I had to stand there and tell them how everything got put together, because they had no idea. As soon as they walked out of my door, he sent us the invoice. No accountability, no discount, no real apology, AND sickly overpriced. It was all about MONEY for Beau. This was our NEIGHBOR of three years. I waited months to post this because I wasn’t sure if I wanted to. But after talking to other people, he apparently does this often. He even stored one family’s furniture in his warehouse that was completely covered with mold- and refused to replace their things. He’s money hungry and will do anything to make $1 at your expense. I should’ve done more research ahead of time and I take responsibility for that, but I thought I was doing my neighbor a kindness by using their company. NEVER again. I have pics, timelines, everything to back this up. Go with anyone but this guy.

Beau and his company were fantastic in getting us moved. Terrell, Rico, and James were super friendly and helpful as well as very professional. Couldn't have picked a better moving company. Props to them all!!

These reviews are a joke! Beau Talley is the owner and previously owned green vanlines of Dallas. He would hire 3rd party movers( even though when signing up he said they don’t) and those people steal and damage your things then Beau and his business stop returning calls and don’t respond to the insurance company! Then Beau just moves on and opens another moving company! It’s is shocking to me how this guy keeps getting a business license!

These guys were AMAZING! They picked up all of our business shelving from Arkansas, stored it for 8 months in their warehouse, then delivered it to both of our Houston locations. The owner was very involved which made the experience that much better. Beau and his guys were awesome on both pickup and delivery making it a smooth move. We will use them again every chance we get!

Beau and his crew of guys came out and did a phenomenal job moving us from Katy to Fulshear. Everyone was on time, very respectful, and they finished under the quoted price. Beau, the owner, was hands on throughout the whole process even brining us packing paper and tape free of change before move day. Best moving service around and genuinely good people!
