Last month, my son and I went to this resort for a one night stay to swim and just have a little adventure before school started. The kids' pool area has a slide with a metal staircase. That's quite obviously an engineering fail and safety hazard, but I assumed this place had done their due diligence here and I cautioned my son to be careful. Unsurprisingly, in hindsight, my son slipped on the slide and injured his back. He was in incredible amounts of pain, and no one helped. Staff and customers alike averted of their eyes and scurried away from a severe injury. When I reported it to the front desk, no one seemed to care and no one offered to write an incident report. In the ensuing chaos I left my prescription glasses at the pool deck. No one was able to retrieve them for me and I was told that I could check Lost and Found in the morning, even though it was only 8 PM. My glasses have still not been returned to me. We didn't even stay overnight because I wanted to be closer to an ER near home. When I reached out to discuss this incident and request that my stay be refunded, I was met with compassionless obstructionist BS. The manager called to tell me that no one in his 35 years has slipped and fallen on the metal staircase to a waterslide. They wouldn't even refund my stay of one night unless I prove beyond a shadow of doubt that they are liable. My son is still dealing with back pain from this fall. These people are monstrous. I'd encourage everyone to take their business elsewhere. They do not care about you.

Fatal mistake to be a guest of this hotel. The building is not adapted for people with reduced mobility. There are no ramps, the steps are high. There is no space for a car in the parking lot. There are no handicapped spaces in the parking lot. I had to put the car in a distant parking lot and walk along the road, because there is no sidewalk (on the way I was almost hit by a car). Dirty rooms with broken, old furniture. Tiny fridge that doesn't work. Broken cabinet doors that just collapsed on top of me. The room has a terrifying audibility: you can hear conversations in the next room, as well as in the corridor.
