Thalia Capos & PicksReviews of thaliacapos.com

I purchased 3 Thalia Pick Pucks. Upon removing them on two of my three Acoustic guitars, there was a circular mark on 2 of the guitars damaging the finish.

Excellent capos and other guitar related products. Exceptionally well made. Customer service is always prompt and very responsive. In the very rare instance that there is a problem with an order, customer service handles it expertly. Hard to think of a better company.

One of my worst purchases ever. I bought a "black ebony" truss rod cover and a set of cocobolo pins "designed for use with most acoustic guitars including Taylor, Martin, Guild, Gibson and more." Well, the pins don't fit my Guild guitar (which they were supposedly designed for), one of the pins is actually damaged, and the truss rod cover is not black at all (it might be some variety of ebony, but it's very different from the pictures on their website). Between premium prices, expensive international shipping, and customs clearance, this was a terrible experience. It's a pity because – wrong color, wrong size, and damage aside – the stuff looks really good. I'll happily revise this review upwards if their customer service will handle this properly, but right now I couldn't be more disappointed by what I received. - Edit (1SEP): 6 days and another email later, still no reply from customer service. Unfortunately, right now, the best advice I can give to potential customer is to simply buy elsewhere. - Edit2 (23OCT): after leaving a negative review on their webpage,I was contacted by the customer service. They claimed that due to technical issues, the emails addressed to them over the period during which I tried to contact them were all lost. Whether it’s true or not, today I finally received my replacements. Unfortunately, the pins are just too large, but at least I was able to make them fit using some sand paper and a lot of patience. The seller was willing to accept a return, but we agreed that given my position it was better to just replace the cracked pin and make them work the hard way. They look great (even better now that there are no cracks), but the seller should really publish the size on the website. The truss rod cover also looks better, but it’s clear that the wood that they’re using in this period isn’t exactly what you would normally expect from black ebony. Not really worth the price or the hassle, but at least the seller ended up doing what was humanly possible to reach a compromise. I appreciate that.
