Unregulated. Not safe. Stay away.
I strongly urge potential users to exercise caution before engaging with TG due to significant concerns about its operations and the safety of funds. From personal experience and the accounts of many others I can provide evidence that they accept deposits from countries they are not licensed to operate in, ignore self exclusion requests. In short they can do and will do whatever they want with your deposits and data with no repercussions. Here’s why you should be wary:Illegal Operations in Regulated Markets: 1. TG accepts players from countries such as the UK and USA without the necessary licensing. This is in violation of laws like the UK Gambling (Licensing and Advertising) Act 2014, which requires all gambling operators targeting UK residents to secure a license from the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC). The absence of such a license raises serious questions about the legality of their operations. 2. Failure to Implement Responsible Gambling Practices: TG does not adhere to responsible gambling protocols, neglecting essential features like self-exclusion and deposit limits that help manage and mitigate harmful gambling behaviors. This failure can have serious consequences for players' mental health and financial stability. 3. Lack of Consumer Protection: Operating without appropriate licenses means TG bypasses regulations designed to protect players, including those for secure handling of personal and financial information. Engaging with such an operator puts your data and deposited funds at risk.Non-Compliance with KYC Regulations: The absence of Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols, crucial for preventing fraud and money laundering, exposes users to additional legal and financial risks. While it has token wording in its terms and conditions this is backed with action such as blocking IPs or implementing actual responsible tools so would not hold up in a court of law. If you have been negatively affected by TGs practices, I strongly recommend reporting the issue to the UK Gambling Commission or a similar regulatory authority in your territory. In the USA, affected individuals should contact the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or their state's gaming board. You should also apply to authorities in Costa Rica were the parent company Atlantis Interactive SRL is registered. Taking these steps can help address and potentially rectify any injustices or losses suffered and ensures that your consumer rights are upheld. Please only use platforms that are fully licensed and committed to responsible gambling practices. I am speaking from experience. I deposited 10,000s without any KYC being performed. I made five self exclusion requests as I need to protect myself. Each request was ignored.
