I had such high hopes for this product. They don’t tell you that the guest will have to connect by giving their email address or connecting through Google or Facebook. Our AirBnB is brand new and both of the guests that tried to use it complained about that. No one wants to use their credentials to connect….It’s easier to type the WiFi password we provide on the entry table. I wanted to return, however, I have to pay return shipping fees, they deduct the initial shipping fees off of the refund AND charge me a 15% restocking fee. Oh, and don’t throw the box away, has to be in original packaging. Well played Ten One Design, well played. $65 I will never get back. Don’t waste your money.

Awful. Don’t buy. I just bought two of the porters in walnut for $60 each. Their website says that iPhones from 2018 onwards can just tap the porter to join WiFi but that isn’t the case. Their customer support emailed me to say that Apple don’t allow NFC so it won’t work. Disappointing and frustrating. They said I could return it to them for a refund but of course I no longer have the original packaging and I’d have to pay to send it from the U.K. to the USA which is unrealistic. Not thanks.

Purchased 2 mini porters & was excited to receive them. Once received & attempted to program the QR code. Realized item is NOT as advertised for guest WiFi login. They make it impossible to process a return. Complete waste of money.

Expensive for what they are. Poor customer service. Item is slick and well made (suspect not by them) and comes with a litany of problems, poor information exchange and they just don't work. Sorely regret buying them now. Total waste of money. Note that if you get a new phone (shock horror in the modern world) that if you didn't write down the security code the app generates (which they don't tell you to do as you will need it and render the items useless otherwise) you need to buy new ones. Quite ridiculous. All in all, sounds like a good idea. But clearly not fit for purpose. Do NOT buy these. I got maybe 1 or 2 uses out of the four of them. I could have paid my annual wifi for about 8 months instead. Do NOT purchase.
