Botched filling, broken tooth, and no accountability
I have been a long-term patient at Tebo Dental – Lilburn, but my recent experience with Dr. Cole was terrible. On 10/8/2026, I had a filling placed on my left back molar. Immediately after, I told Dr. Cole the bite did not feel right. She only polished it. During the visit, I heard her tell her trainee that what she had removed was my tooth when she was supposed to remove excess filling material. After the appointment, the filling was still too high. On 10/12/2026, I had to return for an emergency appointment because the tooth she worked on had broken. Dr. Cole did not offer a treatment plan to fix it or address my ability to eat or my risk of infection. She just joked that at least it was in the back so no one could see. No one took responsibility or offered a solution. They had me come into the office for no reason, just to waste my time and not help me. I was never told the risks of the filling beforehand. I was not told it could be too high, break my tooth, lead to infection, or require further treatment. I was not given a specific risk or consent form to sign. I only heard that fillings have risks from management after I complained. I was also supposed to get a retainer from Tebo, and that is now affected because of the broken tooth. I also have billing concerns because I am being charged for things my insurance should cover. When I spoke to management, my concerns were not relayed accurately and no resolution was offered. I am now in pain, at risk of infection, and unable to eat normally. I will never return to this office and I advise others to be very careful.
