⭐0.1/5 — Very Rude and Unwelcoming Experience I was walking by with a group of other tourists when we saw the Tea Around Town bus and approached because we were genuinely interested in learning more about the experience. When we approached the employee, instead of greeting us or asking how he could help, he waved his hand at us in a dismissive way, basically signaling for us to go away. I specifically explained that I was only looking for a business card, flyer, or some information because I wanted to learn more about the company and possibly participate. Instead of helping, he continued to wave us off as if we were bothering him. That was extremely rude and unprofessional, especially for someone representing a tourism and hospitality business in New York City. We approached as potential paying customers, not to cause any problems. A simple “We don’t have flyers” or directions on where to get more information would have been perfectly fine. There was absolutely no reason to treat potential customers in such a dismissive manner. Customer service begins before someone purchases a ticket. Unfortunately, this interaction completely changed my impression of Tea Around Town and made me reconsider spending my money with the company. Management should seriously address how potential customers and tourists are treated by employees representing the business.
